[Narrator's Pov]

Jisoo ran out of the house still grabbing bits and bobs on her way as Jungkook was waiting for her outside for 30 minutes now. She ran and sat in the car before apologizing for being late. "It's fine" Jungkook said with a laid-back tone as he began driving. It was his business partner and also his good friend's party to celebrate him taking over the company.

Jungkook did not usually like to attend parties like this since he is too busy but due to his friend constantly bugging him about coming to the party he finally gave in. His friend was well aware of his situation so he did not ask him to bring his partner but since Jungkook had a partner he himself decided to take Jisoo with him.

Arriving at the mansion where the party was held a little late Jungkook made his way into the party with Jisoo following behind him. As soon as he entered a certain someone's face lit up, he was waiting for him to show up because he thought that he might not make it.

Jungkook could not have imagined someone jumping on him as soon as he entered "I'm so glad you could make it bro!" Jackson said with the biggest smile plastered on his face. "It's the least I could do for you." Jungkook said patting his shoulder. Both of them were busy talking to each other completely ignoring the existence of a certain someone. 

Jackson suddenly noticed someone standing beside Jungkook gripping her clutch tightly, his eyes suddenly widened. "No way... Who is this beautiful lady beside you Jungkook?" Jackson asked. "Oh I forgot to introduce her to you but she is Park Jisoo, my fiance. She is also Jimin's sister." Jungkook said as if he had just remembered. Jisoo and Jackson shook hands. "Jimin? The Jimin we went to middle school with?" He said with excitement. Jungkook nodded in agreement.

"That's awesome dude, I always knew she had a thing for you! So glad you guys are together!" He said blurting everything out of his big mouth. Jisoo's eyes widened when she heard that. Jungkook was a little taken aback too since he did not think anything of her in that sense. "I guess Jackson here has had a little too much to drink." A voice came from behind revealing a beautiful lady. 

"Oh! Did I forget to mention this is also our engagement party! You were late to the proposal but you did not miss any good stuff!" He said. "He really is drunk." Jungkook said shaking his head. "Well, since my fiance here could not give me a good introduction I will do it myself. I'm Karen and his future wife and I can't believe he did not think of our proposal as the "good stuff'" Karen spoke getting frustrated at his behavior and rolling her eyes. 

Jackson may be drunk but he was not as drunk as he could be. "I guess we will take our leave now since we have matters to discuss and also to let you guys enjoy the party without a third wheel." Karen said as she dragged him away from the couple. Jisoo laughed slightly at the mismatched couple. Before they both knew it they were having drinks and talking to shareholders.

Just as the big company handover segment was over a voice came through the crowd. "Jungkook! I have brought a guest, I'm sure you will be delighted to see him!" He yelled as he made his way towards them from in between the big crowds of people earning a look of disapproval from Jungkook as he sipped his wine. As soon as he was close enough to see the people with him Jungkook could feel that his breath hitched a little but he was quick at keeping his composure. It was none other than- I guess Jackson is hurting to tell Jungkook so he can reveal them himself.

"Look who it is! It is Kim Taehyung from Kim enterprises and his fiance!" He said with excitement. Jungkook gave a slight eye roll still sipping his wine. The tension was thick but only for some people since Jungkook was unbothered. "If you guys collab it would be the best collaboration ever! The two best businessmen together!" Jackson spoke excitedly.
