I kept jumping buildings until I reached my destination,"hope the job's done" I sat at the window facing my clients "job well done now where's the cash?" I asked him "two million dollars just as promised" he pointed two the suitcase filled with money and I grabbed it "nice doing business with you, shadow"he said as I vanished into the shadows . "Ur, what happened ?" I looked around to find that I'm in a cemetery wearing rags "what the hell! Where am i?" I said as I checked for any gun wounds and found none "I thought I was dead" i stood up and found a puddle "who the hell is that" I said as I saw a different face looking at me " who's body is this?"i said,I heard some people talking so I went over to the place and found a woman wearing a mask talking to two other people "Kill the girl, I don't want her alive, understand?" The woman with the mask asked "yes ma'am "person A said "but isn't she your stepdaughter?" Person B asked. Person B was a little kid who was hidden behind the other two "huh,what ?I'm her stepdaughter " I whispered "I don't care, she is useless, my daughter should be the one that man loves and not her" my beloved stepmother said I'm being sarcastic " finished the job or your dead" she said as she walked into the vehicle " not going to happen witch" I whispered. My stepmother left the two to 'finish' the job (air quote on finish) the two were heading this way and left the kid alone. I climbed a tree and hide there "Where did she go?" The first person asked "up here"unsaid as I jumped on top of his shoulder and choked him to death. The moment he stopped breathing I let him go,at the same time the other person attacked with a knife, he swung the knife in attemp to harm me but I kept dodging his attacks,I grabbed the knife from his hand and stabbed him with it. I left his lifeless body on the floor,I walked toward the kid who was in the same spot "hey kid ,you okay?" I asked him and he looked behind me to find the two dead bodies and he smiled " yeah I'm okay" he said as I helped him get up " what's your name?" I asked " mitsu" he answered, he is really cute " how old are you?" I asked " I'm ten years old" he said, wonder where he will stay since I have my stepmother to deal with. The bush near us moved "what was that?"he asked " don't know " I told him, the snap of a branch was heard and the kid hid behind me. " I'm not a humanshield" I said with a bored expression on my face " sorry" he said " stay here I'll go check and see what was making the noise" I said to him "kay" he said. The little fox pursed as I hug it "I'm keeping it...I'll call you ... meeno" I said as it moved it's head side ways . "Okay then,let's go" I said as I stood up, we were about to leave when there was a flash of lightning " looks like it's about to rain" I said, i started to move until we were stroke by lightning.
