You were just training with Rengoku.
"Great job Y/N! You were performing today wonderfully!" Rengoku smiled
You smiled back "Thank you, Kyojuro"
"You can take a break now, tommorow we will continue training" He said as he put on his cape
"Right, see you tomorrow!" You waved to him, he waved back as he went off to his mission. (No- it's not what you think 😭)
You sighed as you put your sword away and turned around. You saw Obanai talking to Misturi, you smiled and thought they look cute together. Thinking about that made your heart hurt.
But you just brushed it off and walked away, pretending that nothing happened.
When you were walking towards the Butterfly Mansion, Tanjiro was there, practicing the 'Total Concentration: Constant'.
You tapped on his shoulder and smiled. "Hey, Tanjiro. I see you are practicing well."
Tanjiro looked at you and smiled back.
"Yep! I have been practicing all day and night!"
"That's good! 'Total Concentration: Constant' can make your attacks more powerful and you can move quicker. Keep at it!" You smiled
Tanjiro nodded "I will!"
You said goodbye to Tanjiro, as soon you saw Genya.
"Hey Genya! Wait up!" You yelled
But he completely ignored you and kept walking away, soon you caught up and tried to hold him back.
"Genya? Why are you ignoring me?" You asked
He sighed "Just leave me alone.." He walked away as you just stood there.
You were worried for him, but you thought some time alone so when you turned around, you bumped into someone.
"Ah! Sorry!" You caught yourself and looked up.
It was Obanai.
"Watch where you are going next time." He said
"Right! And I'm very sorry" You bowed
Obanai looked at you and just walked away, leaving you confused.
It was the next day as you were training with Sanemi. You lost a round and fell down in pain.
"Tch...get up weakling. Anyways the pain won't be permanent" He said harshly
You wondered why do you have to train with him? You got up and picked up your sword.
After the training, Sanemi left you with scratches and bruises. Soon Aoi and Kanao found you lying on the ground and Aoi started patching you up.
"You know, if you didn't want him to be your trainer then you should've asked Misturi or Shinobu.." Aoi said as she finishes up patching your bruise marks.
You smiled and shook your head.
"I'm fine Aoi, anyways if I want to become stronger I need to train with a strong hashira" You said
Aoi sighed and helped you get up.
"If that's what you want, then I can't stop you. But I can support you" Aoi smiled a bit
You smiled back and hugged Aoi for a couple of seconds "Thanks Aoi.."
You started running outside and waved to Aoi and Kanao.
Aoi looked at Kanao
"Want to start their Rehabilitation training?" Aoi asked as Kanao nodded
"Alright, let's get the girls and start."
You climbed on a tree and sat on a branch that can support your weight.
Once you found a branch you can sit on, you relaxed and looked at the view.
"How is it over there?" A voice said right next to you
"Hu-- WOAH!" You fell down and when you were preparing for the landing, but it didn't come. You slowly opened your eyes and looked up.
Muichiro was holding you up, you were amazed on how strong a 14-year old boy is.
He pulled you up "You okay?" He asked as he looked at you with his emotionless expression
You smiled nervously "Y-yeah, thanks Tokito"
He nodded "So, how was training? I heard-"
"We don't need to talk about that" You cut him off
Muichiro was hanging upside down on a branch, like a bat. You looked at him in amazement.
"What is it?" He asked
The moment he started talking, you looked away quickly.
"Nothing"
You went off somewhere else, back to the Hashira place. As you got inside, you saw Obanai.......giving flowers to Misturi.
"C-can you be my girlfriend..?"He asked her nervously as you stood there
You can't take this anymore and ran away, crying.
You ran towards the Butterfly Mansion but you bumped into Shinobu.
"Oh! Careful there" She said as she helped you up.
"T-thanks.." You tried to wipe your tears, but they just kept coming back.
Shinobu put her hand on your shoulder
"Did something happen Y/N?" She asked
You looked at her before answering
"I-it's Obanai....he asked Misturi to be his girlfriend....it's just...I like him! Very much..." you sniffed
Shinobu wiped your tears away and hugged you.
"Shh....it's fine...I'll talk to him, alright?"
You nodded and smiled a bit "Thanks Kocho..."
Shinobu smiled back "No problem! Anyways I don't want to see you cry, just keep smiling for me...okay?" She asked, you nodded and smiled.
It has been almost night and you still can't get over on what you saw with Obanai and Misturi. You tried to do the things that would take your mind off of stuff...but not this time.
You are in your room, staring at the floor. But that soon came to an end as a knock was heard.
"Y/N? Can we come inside?" It was Shinobu's voice...and what does she mean by 'we'?
You opened the door and saw Shinobu and Obanai.
"Y/N, Iguro wants to apologize. I'll leave you guys to talk about it." Shinobu said to you before she left.
At first it was just awkward.
Then you had to break the ice between you two.
"...So...I heard that you and Misturi are probably dating...right?" You asked, not looking at him.
Obanai sighed and immediately tackled you into a hug.
"No...me and Misturi are not dating.."
You were suddenly confused when Obanai released you from his grip
"But...I heard you confessing to her..."
He shook his head
"That was supposed to be for you...it's just, I don't have the courage to say it in front of you. So I asked Misturi for help..." Obanai explained
Your eyes widened as he explains.
"That confession...was for me..?" You asked as Obanai nodded, blushing a little.
You smiled and got teary-eyed.
Then suddenly you hugged him "I-I didn't know..! I'm so sorry! I just thoug-" you were cut off by Obanai kissing you (He took off his mask, alright?? 😭).
"No...it's my fault, I should've told you sooner" He smiled as you smiled back
"I love you Obanai.."
"I love you too moonshine.."
