Dead Highway

Its the morning now and Violet is sleeping. There has been Tons of cars that are deserted and blood on the windows. Ive seen a lot of zombies looking for food a few have jumped on my car and I had to shake them off. Once Violet wakes up she asked me how much gas I have left. "Shit I only have 1.5 gallons left that means we have 28 miles before we run out of gas". She asks me if I have stopped for weapons yet. I slam on the brakes as we are about to pass a minivan the has the door open and has a ton of stuff inside. I run out of the car and pick up a baseball bat and a taser from a dead persons pocket. When I hop in the car i give Violet the taser and I keep the baseball bat by my leg. Once we leave the cars gas slowly gets lower almost empty. Then we see a human running at us and we stop the car and let him in the back cause zombies where coming fast. After he gets in the car he thanks us for letting him in he said in the next minute he would've been dead. I ask him what his name is and he says " Kayden ". Then I tell him that we are running out of gas and at that moment the car stops. Then I see the zombies running at us Kayden hops out of the car and shoots the zombies with a bow and arrow. Then we start running at the closest house and its a beach house. We find that the house is locked so we break in the window. As we come in the window I see a girl and a guy and the guy is the zombie coming at her. She stabs the zombie with a kitchen knife and he falls to the ground limb as she's cry. We ask her what happened and what her name is. She says "my name is Jessie and my boyfriend turned into a zombie and I had to kill him". As Jessie is crying another person jumps through the broken window and said "my name is Mathew and I heard what happened and I want to join your team". After we let him in our gang I say we need nicknames we all agree. I say that "Kayden is CJ and Jessie is Scarlet and Mathew is Matt". After we all agree to our names we go through Scarlets house and take all the weapons we can. We find a kitchen knife a crowbar a bag of nails. I put the nails through the baseball bat and everyone gets a weapon. Then we all go bed so we get some rest for the big days ahead of us.
