jealousy [ Diluc x Fem reader]

Chapter 2

Kaeya looked off for the rest of the day. I tried asking him but he ignored me and continued to use his flirty ways to talk to me. I've had people tell me that kaeya was interested in me but he always just flirted with me in a friendly manure. But the more I think about it, he doesn't really talk to other girls. Of course he talks to them but not the way he talks to me.
"Hey Y/N, do you want to go out for dinner tonight?" A blue haired man asked me.
"Uh yea sure." I normally ate out since I was one of the Knights but didn't get good pay since I wasn't good with any weapons. I had a small brick house just across the street from the tavern. Kaeya and I normally just went to the tavern for a drink or I found some sort of food to consume.
"Oh Diluc!" Kaeya blurted out as a red haired man walked past me.
"Why don't you join Y/N and I for dinner tonight? don't worry i'll pay, but i guess you would never have to worry about that since you took all of fathers money he left behind."
"Cut it out Kaeya. We aren't kids anymore. And sorry to tell you but I will not be joining your dinner tonight, I have things to do."
"Well then Y/N, I guess you could call tonight a date."
"It's not like we do this most nights, just the two of us out for dinner. Why is it called a date now?"
"Actually I will join you 2 for dinner." Diluc said at the corner of a store 3 feet in front of me.
"Oh isn't that cute, you're jealous aren't you?" Kaeya started to bicker with Diluc as I quietly looked away, staring at the fish swimming wildly around in the pond a little bit towards the right of me.
"We should get on our way if we want to get a seat." Diluc stated pointing the way of the restaurant. We all walked side by side as if we were a marching band. I was in the middle with the 2 boys in front of me. Diluc, walking faster than the rest of us. And Kaeya walked at the same pace as me.
I was flustered at the time because I wasn't wearing anything special nor was a dressed up. I wore a tight black button down shirt with some khaki pants. I had a long tan dress coat on with a long silver heart necklace my mother got me before she moved out of Mondstadt. I also didn't know where diluc was leading us to. I wanted to ask Kaeya if he knew but I was too scared Diluc would bud in. I didn't want to talk to him right now because it would be a real conversation with him. And to my surprise, words started to spill out of my mouth.
"hey diluc, how's the tavern doing?" I questioned without my approval.
"Fine, It's doing fine."
Was he mad at me? Did I do something wrong? Was he just in a mood because he was bickering with kaeya?
We arrived at the restaurant and to my surprise it was a small restaurant on the outskirts of town. It looked relatively nice from the outside, but i wasn't to hungry for a full meal. i'll just order a small appetizer.
"take a seat over here." the waitress directed us.
"Hey Y/N, wanna go get coffee after this?"
"You can get coffee here." Diluc answered for me.
"Diluc was that necessary? let Y/N answer her own questions, she's a big girl you know."
Diluc sighed and I looked away. "Y/N, you look rather put together tonight. any occasion? I was planning it being just us and you know I don't care how you look." Kaeya told me with a wide smile on his face.
"Oh it's just my normal attire, nothing spec-"
"It looks nice on you" Kaeya said as he cut my off.
"Do you always flirt like this with her? Or are you guys a thing I don't know about, because last time I checked you where taking Rosaria to the bar every Tuesday and Thursdays." Diluc chimed in.
"Jealous again?" Kaeya snapped back at diluc.
"Can we stop please." I told both of them
"guess so." Kaeya being the only one who answered back.
Is Diluc jealous of me? No, Kaeya probably just wanted to say that to get on his brother's nerves.

After paying for our food and heading out the door I walked in the direction of my house. I thanked Kaeya for paying and said goodnight to both of them. I felt like Diluc was a little more on edge this evening but, it's not like i ever talked to him on a daily basis. I wish i saw Diluc as much as i saw Kaeya. But yet why did he bring up about him and Rosaria? i already knew about Tuesdays and Thursdays. And on most days i'm there with them. Was he actually feeling jealous..?
