What's Jennifer's problem?  Every time I try to talk about our past, she runs, runs like she wants to forget all the good times we've had.  Seriously... I don't understand this woman.

After getting dressed she leaves the bathroom and Jen was no longer in the room.  I took the elevator down to find her and Yn in the lobby looking at a tourist magazine.

— Where are we going?  -I stopped in front of the two that were leafing through the pages.

— Christ the Redeemer?  -Jen shrugged.

—  Yea!  It must be great there, I read there's a little restaurant up there.  -Yn said excitedly.

We left the hotel after asking for information from the receptionist who guided us to the square, where we bought the three tickets.  Our van would leave in a few minutes.

— That seems pretty loud, doesn't it? -Jen looked out the window of the moving vehicle, I had forgotten that she was afraid of heights.  The van we were in was going round and round around the big hill of the corcovado, it seemed that it had no end and yes, it was very high and it was a little scary.

— Just breathe and don't look out the window, okay?  -I said holding her hand.  She nodded, closing her eyes and laying her head on my shoulder.

— We're here!  -Yn nudged me and I looked at the van door being opened, she, Jen and I got up and got out of the vehicle.  It was a strong wind up here, but with this extremely hot sun, the wind wouldn't be too bad.

— Oh my God, I can see the clouds.  -Jen looked at the parapet seeing a low cloud flying over some trees.

— Relax mom, how about we see the tamarins in the trees?  -Yn took her vacant hand.  Wait, were she and I still holding hands?

We walked up to a small staircase where there was a crowd looking at the screaming little monkeys, standing there taking pictures of them and playing.  Then we went up a big escalator, the ladder that went up to the big Christ.

When we stopped in front of that monument, even I was paralyzed, it was huge, how can someone make a statue of that height on top of a hill?

— There's a photo booth there.  - I said pointing to some people who formed a line.

— I don't know if I can walk there, my legs are shaking.  -Jen grabbed my shoulder.

—Don't be so.  - I slipped my arm under her legs lifting her up and maybe I was carrying Jennifer Lopez on my lap.

— Ben, put me down, people are watching.

— Yes, it seems to be very high here.  -ok, that was low blow.  She looked at the floor and shook her head, it seems she preferred my lap anyway.

— A family photo and a couple photo?  -the man who took the pictures asked before we said anything.

- Yea.  -I nodded, is there a problem with these photos?  No, not for me.

We posed for some pictures, of course that picture was a montage with the background of Christ the Redeemer, nobody can take a picture here without having millions of people behind also taking pictures.

First it was the picture of the three of us together, the "Affleck Family" and then me and Jen.

We took one with her by my side, with me holding her waist, she didn't mind too much as she doesn't trust stepping on something so high off the ground.  And then one where I held her, tickled her belly and the picture was perfect, me looking at her and her smiling, practically laughing because of the tickle.

I paid the man and took the photos, Jen asked for a copy of the three photos.  Would she save a photo?  And with me in it?

— Now how about we get something to eat?  I'm about to pass out here.  -Jen said making a move to get off my lap.  Put it on the floor and it staggered. — I still don't trust stepping here.  -she said and laughs with Yn.

— Terrace!  The food must be wonderful.  -Yn spoke and starting to look for exactly where this little restaurant was.  When we realized that we had already passed it, since it was at the entrance of the Christ, we went back to the stairs to go down.  Well... If Jen didn't get stuck on her...

— Come on, it's just a few steps.  - I said, trying to make her get up from the stairs, yes, Jennifer Lopez sitting on the steps of Christ the Redeemer, for being afraid to look at all that horizon.

—  I can not.

— Just close your eyes mama, come on, you can do it.

— You know what, forget it.  -I picked her up again.  I went down the remaining steps until I reached the restaurant. — Alright, now how about we pick a table?  -I said point her on the floor, already in front of the place.

— A table for three, we have one on the balcony of our establishment or... There in that window facing the Christ.  -a man came to us with a tablet possibly seeing a table.

— We prefer the one with the window, my… - I looked at Jen without knowing what word to define it.

— Wife?  - the man tried to complete and we looked at each other.

— She's afraid of heights, I think we'll be better at the window.  -speak gently and then he led us to the table.  A while later a waiter came to give us the menus, we chose our dishes and stayed there talking.  When the food arrived we ate, talked some more and then remembered to go to the beach.

By the way, who comes to Rio and doesn't visit any beach here, right?

We went down Corcovado, but this time Jennifer was calmer, as we would not return to Christ.

We went to a swimwear store, Jen and Yn wanted to go back to the hotel to change clothes, but I was pretty sure that if Jen came back to the hotel she wouldn't want to go out anymore.  So I took her to a store, she bought a carmine bikini.  The top part of her was a cup that highlighted her big chest and, the bottom part was hollow, it fits well on her sculptural body... What can I do, I have eyes, right, and she was always pretty and hot.

To accompany and cover herself in this scorching Rio sun, she also bought a bucket hat in the same shade as her bikini.  Yeah, she was tremendously hot.

Yn preferred an open-back swimsuit without attracting too much attention.  I like having a daughter who doesn't really like to show off, so I save myself having to threaten some boys.
