first day pt2

Me and Jason finally reach the door to my first class which took us forever and it was unfortunately for me. Music.
I've always had a hatred for music. Not when it comes to listening but certainly when it comes to being forced to play an instrument or sing.
It's weird as my dad used to always say I would not shut up during car rides, and I would always ask for the music on full blast so I could scream at the top of my lungs.
Anyways we walk in. Jason's cold hand firmly placed around my waist.
We were quite literally the last people to walk in and everyone's eyes fell on me
"Babe I'll see you at lunch okay"
Jason kissed me on the cheek and unraveled his hand from around me.
I say my goodbyes and pulled a chair to the back. The teacher then started rambling as I sat down and made myself comfy.

The first two lessons went by quicker then I thought, as I was now walking through the lunch hall trying to spot Jason.
I walk around like a lost dog until my name is called.
"Y/N"
I turn around and Lucas is sat at a full table with everyone from the basketball team but weirdly not Jason.
I quickly head over and hover by Lucas.
"Hey, where's Jason?" I say while looking around the cafeteria.
"He will be here in a few minutes. He's just getting food"
Lucas moves up and motions me to sit down, which I then do.
I take my lunch out of my bag and start chatting to Lucas about my classes.
It wasnt long before I heard Jason.
He came and sat next to me and immediately looked at my lunch.
"That's alot of food Y/n"
I stop talking and gaze at Jason's annoyed face.
"Yeah, your right. Sorry.." I look down at my food and pack it up before putting it back in my bag.
I sat quietly listening to all the boys laugh and chat for a bit until they stop and a voice echos around the cafeteria.
"THE BASKETBALL CAPTAIN HAS A GIRLFRIEND? WELL LOOK AT THAT"
I look up and spot a tall quite handsome guy with beautiful brown eyes and dark hair.
Jason stands up and screams
"AT LEAST I CAN ACTUALLY GET A GIRLFRIEND AND DONT SPEND MY ENTIRE TIME ON KID GAMES. FREAK"
I flinch at his voice and I look up at Jason annoyed and upset.
"Jason sit down please, he was just surprised.."
I could feel the whole cafeterias eyes on me and Jason as he looked down at me disgusted.
He puts his hands on the table and leans down.
"If your gonna be like that then go sit with them and become a FREAK" He spat.
I stand up and slam my hands on the table producing a loud bang that echoed the quiet lunch hall before then grabbing my bag and walking out of the hall, I didn't even attempt to look back. I just heard him talking to his friends and soon after that the dead cafeteria was lively again.
I walk as far away from the voices as I could and perch myself in a corner on the floor.
I just wanted this whole day to be over with so I could go home and see my Dad. He gets back from a work trip today and since he left like a month ago I've been staying with Jason, but he's been getting really controling recently.
I try and gather myself before going back but every part of my knew I shouldn't so I sat sobbing to myself for a few minutes before I heard footsteps coming closer.
I was hoping they were just gonna walk past but they stopped at me and I could see someones black boots as I was looking down at the floor.
"Please go away" I say as I sniffle.
"That's not a way to start a conversation love." I look up and that same tall guy with memorable brown eyes leans down and wipes the tears from my face. I caught myself smiling and got annoyed at myself.
"I'm Eddie by the way" he tilts his head and smiles at me.
"Im-" he cut me off
"Beautiful. Yeah I noticed"
I can now feel my face getting hot and flustered, I glance away looking at the clock behind him.
"Class is starting in 5 minutes, I best go, it was nice meeting you tho Eddie" i stand up and he hands me his phone.
"Out your number in? If you want of course, I think we are gonna be great friends."
I put my number in his phone and walk off I kinda wanted to turn around but fought the urge to. He was the nicest person I've met today we'll apart from Lucas of course.
