As Annabelle wakes up on this not necessarily beautiful morning she knows that she still has to face the nagging and complaints from her in-laws because she is barren.
Even after 5 years of marriage she still hasn't given birth to a child. She has tried all she can to have a child.
When she was going downstairs the night before she overheard her father-in-law and her mother-inlaw discussing with her husband, John . They said they were thinking about getting their son another wife because she couldn't bear a grandchild for them.
She couldn't blame them but that doesn't mean that she wasn't hurt by their words because she loves John very much and she didn't want another woman to steal her husband.
So that night she slept while thinking about who the new wife may be and how she may look like.
