her eyes met his and her heart skipped a beat the way he looked at her was like nothing she’d ever seen. he had such beautiful green eyes, even in the dark of the room she could see them well enough that he was able to take her breath away. she wasn’t used to being so captivated by someone so quickly and yet here he was she felt like she didn’t know how to react to him. she couldn’t stop staring. he seemed just as mesmerized by her with an expression that would only make her feel more flustered if she hadn’t been feeling so overwhelmed. she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder which jolted her out of her trance. she turned around to face her best friend Ophelia who was looking at her with concern.
“Ophelia what are you doing?” Ophelia asked “you look like you’ve seen a ghost” Ophelia said with a laugh.
