Eleven is sitting in her house, watching TV while eating eggos. She takes her last bite and licks the syrup off of her thumb. She feels a buzz in her pocket, and takes it out to see a text message from Max.

" Heyy El! Wanna come over, i'm SOO bored and Billy and his new girlfriend won't stop happy screaming. "
El got a text message from Maxine, Hopper and her new mom, Joyce, hadn't explained what happy screaming was yet, but she had heard Jonathan and Nancy happy screaming the other day. She wondered what it was. Maybe they had ice cream and eggos? She replied back.
" Sure! I'm kind of bored too and Mike hasn't talked to me since the first day of Spring Break, he just plays that stupid game DnD with Will all day, I think they have something going on. "
El thought for a second then clicked Send. It was true, Mike started to ignore all of El's calls and texts to hang out with Will. Maybe something actually was going on.

Max sat at home in her room, just with El on her mind, what if she invited her over? It was silent until you could only hear Billy and his new girlfriend moaning constantly. It was gross. He is only 19, he's had too many girlfriends to count. She pulled out her phone and started to text El.
