Amane sighed while laying down in bed. It was late and he was in a year he didn't know. It was actually slightly scary to him. There was so much technology he didn't understand. Even the telephones he knew were now cell phones. Ones you can carry around with you in your pocket and play games on it. He was even watching Yashiro lay on the futon next to his playing a game. She was smiling a little and giggled a few times. It peaked a little curiosity in him, so he carefully rolled a little closer to watch. He saw a game that she was tapping to a beat of a song. There was even cartoon boys that sang in the background. He rose a brow slightly wondering if girls even like these types of things now in these times. When the game ended and she won a level, he poked her. "Yashiro, we should be sleeping. We have a big day tomorrow." He whispered, while she glanced over to him. Yashiro smiled and turned off her phone, setting it to the side. "Sorry, Amane. I just wanted to play that game one last time. It was a favorite of mine." He hummed and rolled back to the center of his futon.
"Say, Yashiro, do you think I can actually make it back to my time? Or even remember you? I cant bear the thought of it... Like I don't even want to go back... I don't even want to try to go back if myself is there wanting to kill me or you..." he whispered and she stared surprised. She wanted to frown, but a smile appeared on her face. She rolled all the way over and crawled on top of him. Hovering over him, making sure he could see her a bit better in the dark room, lit only by the moon. "It will be okay. We have a plan to get us there safely. Then we can go back to living like we were." Amane was slightly flushed but confused. He raised a brow, "You keep saying we. Why? You belong here in this time. We technically don't belong together." He spoke, but she only smiled. Not a single word. He didn't say a word either. Was she planning on going back with him? She couldn't. There would be more problems then. "I'm going because I'm your future wife, remember? I promised." She then spoke up and it caused him to blush more. She was still going on with that? She didn't have to do what his mother said at all! Especially if she was from this time!
"Y-you don't have to! That was all my mom! I didn't even ask if you would marry me!" He stuttered with his face flushed. Yet Yashiro hummed a yes. It confused the dark haired boy. She hummed a yes again and he puffed. "I-I didn't ask-!" He said once again, before she interrupted with a yes. Yashiro wasn't going to let him escape. Not going to let him try to avoid it. She had to stand her ground. "I didn't-!" He said once more before his lips were silenced. Her hand was pressed on his mouth. His face held still and she sat on him so he couldn't roll away. His face burned to his neck and ears as she began to lean down and hover an inch from his face. Why wasn't she listening to him? Why was she just saying yes? So many questions rolled in his head and he just closed his eyes. He hesitated, but turned his eyes back to the wall.
"I'm going because I love you Amane." Yashiro said after a little bit of silence. Her face was red also, because this wasn't something she didn't expect herself of doing. Not realizing she had to take the lead. It was so off for her and embarrassing to be honest. Amane blinked a few times before freezing, "W-what?" He asked confused from the confession. They technically haven't known each other for even 3 days. Yet she confessed. Of course she knows his dead self and been with him for so long, but this... There is no way she could say she loved him. "I love you Amane Yugi. Please... Will you let me go with you? To be your wife?" She asked sweetly and it caused him to grab a pillow to hide his face. Yashiro only thought it was adorable while Amane was hating himself at that moment.
"I-I'm sorry Yashiro... No matter how much I would love for you to be there with me, you can't..." he said severely flustered, but in a serious tone. "I don't want you to be there and have troubles there, but I don't to leave you here and be with troubles here also. Yet... here you actually have more people who can protect you than I ever could..." he whispered. It caused Yashiro to frown and then grab the pillow from his hands. She watched to see him actually tearing up a little. Broken inside from so many things. Yet he was still together. It made her just reach to cup his face in her hands. He looked at her confused, but flustered. "I will be safer with you than being here... Believe me on that." She whispered before placing a kiss to his forehead. Amane just sulked embarrassed and not knowing what to say or do. This was so weird. He didn't understand. "I love you Amane." She said again and he remained quiet. Yet that was okay for Yashiro. She still had to break the ice. It was only shaving at this rate.
