Chapter 24: warmth

Rasa remained still even he heard the sounds of the footsteps and it didn't take any genius to figure out who are the people.

Bart and Ruma immediately went to the barn both of them wear a panic expression. Bart tried to get off Santana but Rasa stop him.

"Let me go Rasa!" Bart ordered Rasa while trying to shake of his arms.

But Rasa tightened his hold and then threw him towards Ruma whom immediately catch Bart.

"Shut up and don't interfere remember about the bet, if that brat ended up devouring his mother fault and she will face the consequences.  " Rasa said in a emotionless tone.

Bart wanna refute but he can't Y/n choose it and he must respect it. Of she dies then atleast Santana is with her but despite that Bart can't help it his heart can take it if those two will be gone forever he will miss Y/n savage comeback when he tease her and he will also miss teasing and bullying Santana... And lastly he will miss the warmth in the house and the sounds of laughter.

Bart tears already falling and Ruma.... He will be also be sadden because he remember Y/n words that this will be the only way to let Rasa realized that he is wrong, now Rasa cannot be saved.

Suddenly they heard a woman voice, Y/n sung the lullaby on of her favorites that she learned from her old nanny.

   While humming she pat her son head like how she usually do so Santana can have a peaceful nap, she embraced her son and continue this action even though Santana still biting her and never let go. After a few minutes she felt that Santana already relaxing and the bite is already loosen a bit. She put her hands in Santana cheeks and she stare at her lovely son face. She gave it a look of adoration, love and assurance just like how a mother look to their child. She kiss him in the forehead and whisper in his ear.

"Sweet dreams my son."
