Chapter 9: Awaken ?

Me and Bart were preparing to go and hunt in the forest this time we didn't prepared much for Santana because Bart said that he found a place where it is too shady and many animals in that place so Santana can freely walk or run around without worrying about the sun.

Time skip

We were now in the forest preparing our tools for cutting woods and hunting, while I was preparing some tools I called my son and he immediately run to me.

"Santana I want you to stay here ok? You can run and play but you cannot go too far and if there is a wild animal in here don't approch it and tell me ok?" I said seriously.

Santana nod in understanding.

"Oh come on (y/n) Santana is smart and strong he can handle his self." Bart told me and I give him a glare.

"He is still a child he needs to be careful." I said to him and he immediately shut up.

He just give me a nervous chuckle while scratching the back of his neck.

"Don't worry mother I will do as you says I'll promise that I will be careful." My son reassure me.

I kneel in front of him and give him a kiss in tge forehead.

"Be careful little star." I said.

And then after that me and Bart left.

3rd person Pov

After they left Santana just play around seizing this moment because back then when his mother brought him here he is always in the tent either playing or sleeping which bored him so much, but now he is so happy he can do any activities without being afraid that the sun will burn him. After an hour he is still waiting for his mother and uncle, Santana decided that he will search his mother and uncle. He use his high senses to find them and then he follow the noise and his mother scent.

A few minutes he found the but he saw a wild boar and then to his mother. The boar run to his mother ready to attack then Santana's instinct kick in and then he run towards his mother in the full speed and then he shield his mother.

"Mother get out of here!" He shout.

His mother look at her back and then Santana got attack by the boar. Santana expected a pain but nothing then he saw his mother and uncle looking at him in shock while he gave them a confuse look. He felt something pulling away to him, Santana look at his back and saw that the boar attached in something in his back. He found something wide in his side and he saw his ribs. The ribs that attaches in the boar head, then the next thing he do is he absorb the boar while its struggled.

The two still look at him in shock. After Santana finish eating his food he look at his mother and uncle in fear.... He knew that he wasn't a human because of his parents figured appearance and ability.

His mother walk to him with an angry expression.

"Santana...." She said angrily.

Santana gulp and look at his mother.

"Don't do something like that! What if you have gotten hurt huh?! Or worse dead!" His mother scold him.

"I'm sorry mother... I didn't mean to..... I just don't want you to get hurt mother." Santana said while sobbing.

(Y/n) gaze has soften and then she sigh. She kneel in her son and the hug him while patting.

"I'm so sorry too son for yelling at you it's just I am more worried and scared if that boar attacked you.... I wouldn't mind getting injured just not my son." She explained.

Santana look at her mothers eyes that held worried,fear, and sincere.

"Mother I promise when I grow up I... I'll prtoect you...." He promise with the hint of determination in his eyes.

(Y/n) just smiled at her son and then she hug her.

"So.... Can we go home?" Bart ask.

Which the three laugh and then went home unaware with the set of two eyes that watching them to leave.
