Chapter 2 <3

The next day

Your alarm starts ringing and you sit up in a flash. You check the time and the clock reads 6:00am. You get out of bed and take a quick shower. You get dressed you decide to wear some blue baggy jeans and a black Metallica shirt. You then put on mascara and lipgloss. you put the whole look together by putting on a silver chain and a few rings. You go back in your room to check the time. The clock reads 7:00am. "shit shit shit! I'm going to be late!!" You yell. you run downstairs and grab a pop tart from the pantry and quickly pop it in the toaster. You take it out and eat it on the way out. You check the time on your watch it reads 7:06am. "Okay good looks like I'm not going to be late after all". You walk out the front door to see the same boys from yesterday standing right in front of you. "Can I help you?" I say politely. " Hi I'm Dustin" the boy with curly hair says "and this here is mike. Mike waves at me "Oh  I'm   y/n, y/l/n nice to meet you!" I say. "We saw you yesterday did you just move here?" Dustin says. "Yes I did actually" I say. "Cool do you want to walk to school with us since your new?" Dustin says. I wanted to be nice so I said yes.
On the way there we talked about ourselves. Turns out Dustin and mike were freshman's while I was a senior. I couldn't help but look at their shirts. "Where did you get those cool shirts" I say curiosity getting the better of me. "It's for our dnd club hellfire made by our friend Eddie" Mike says excitedly. "Oh that's really cool!" We reached school then parted ways. I was supposed to go to the principal's office so I can get my schedule. I didn't know the way so I asked a kind girl who's name was Nancy. I finally reached the principle's office and got my schedule. I was a bit overwhelmed by my anxiety so I tried to calm myself down I reach my first class math....how I hate math. I walk and the teacher introduces me to the class. "Class this is Y/n our new student" the teacher says. I do a quick wave and went to find a seat. Later that day it was time for lunch. I get my tray and I look around for a seat. Dustin then yells "Y/N OVER HERE!" From across the room. I walk over to their table and they all have those cool t- shirts. "my my who do we have here?" A guy with brown shoulder length hair and a bunch of rings says. Eddie this is y/n y/l/n, y/n Eddie. "Hi nice to meet you!" I say. "Nice to meet you too" he says as he smiles looking me up and down. Dustin then starts talking about postponing their dnd campaign because their other friend Lucas can't make it. "can I level with you?" Eddie says in a serious tone. He gets up and grabs the boys by their collars and talks about getting someone else to fill in Lucas's space. "We already tried no one wants to join" mike says. Eddie glances over at me and says "I bet y/n can fill in his spot" he says as he smirks "Me? Oh yeah I would love to I love dnd" I say. Everyone starts cheering as I smile."wait really you play dnd?" He says. "Yeah I do" I reply. "Ok it's settled then" Eddie says by giving me a sweet look. The bell rings and I start going to my next class biology. I get up and start to walk away when I hear someone call my name. "Y/n wait up" it was Eddie. "Can I walk with you? I also have biology" Eddie says. "Sure why not maybe we can get to know each other" I say. " So why did you move to a shitty town like Hawkins" Eddie asks. "Well my dad got a job offer here and we had to move from California" I reply. "Woah Californias so far away from here!" Eddie says.  "I know right" I chuckled. Before I knew it we were at class. "Ladies first" Eddie says. I go in "such a gentleman" I say as I chuckle. The teacher then introduces me to the class. "Y/n you can go sit next to Eddie, Eddie raise your hand" I went ahead and sat next to Eddie. "We meet again princess" I blush at the name he called me. and shot a quick smile. He noticed and smiled back.
