Dream POV
Relaxing in my chair. Just..  thoughts. Deep thoughts. Mask secured. Memories. Relaxing.. relaxing.. relaxi-

"Hey nerd." Somebody interrupted my meditation. I groaned. "Ugh Techno what the fuck?" Even with my eyes closed, I could feel his eyes staring at me. "What? It's work time. It's 9:30." I sighed. He's right. But I really don't wanna get up. "Just lemme sleep more.."

Footsteps came closer, and closer to me. Techno picked me up. "AH! BITCH LET ME DOWN!" I shouted at him. He plopped me back onto the chair, making me actually sit up. "Did you not sle-"

*Knock knock knock knock knock* the knocks became increasingly quicker and louder. Techno looked at the door, then me. I nodded. He went up to the door and-

"DREAM!" George rushed towards me. "ARE YOU OKAY?" Sapnap rushed to my side as well. "Guys, guys, I'm fine." I stated. "Is it the new guy? Techno or something?" George accused, walking towards Techno with a finger pointed up. "No no no no, Gogy it's not Tech." I said quickly, yet too late.

George POV
I can't believe Dream let this motherfucker be his assistant. He literally screamed! And this guy doesn't even help him! We had to rush to him. Dream saying 'He's fine' is probably Technoblade's doing. Hurting Dream. Can't happen if I'm around.

"Bitch. Come here." I could hear Dream in the background trying to stop me with words, probably too tired or hurt to get up, but I ignored it. "What do you need?" Technoblade asked. I was glaring at him. Glaring. He didn't seem worried at all. Which was strange. My position is high enough to fire him.

"Follow me. I need to talk to you. Privately." I pointed towards a to and told him to go there. He did as told. "Wait! George!" I heard Dream say. "It's really not him!" I sighed. "Dream don't worry. I'm going to help you. He's going to be fired." I said, smiling, walking out of the room.

Dream POV
I heard George shut the door when I was just about to yell something. I sat back in my chair. No no no no. This cannot be happening. Techno can't be just fired! He just arrived. What are the chances that I'll meet him again? I put my hands under the mask to cover my eyes.

"Dream..?" Somebody said. I just remembered Sapnap was still in the room. "Yes Sap?" There was a hesitation. "What.. is your relationship with Techno?" I sighed. "He used to be my boss." I told him. "Oh, wait then why did he quit?" I shrugged. "He was gonna tell me today." "Oh.."

"Can you go find George please, and get Techno back. Thank youu." I said. He walked out. "Okay Dreamy" I smiled.

Techno POV
Uhhh, George guy is taking me somewhere. Something about wanting to fire me? Do I even want to be fired? I just got here though? Uhh I kinda wanna stay with Dream if I'm gonna be honest.

"Come here." George instructed. I followed. I don't even know why. I just did. "I know what you're doing." George said, with venom spitting words. "Don't continue." I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" "STOP LYING!" He shouted. "What? You jealous or somethin'?" I chuckled. "Hmm, maybe so.. but you better stay outta the way, bitch. Or I'll get you fired." He threatened. I crossed my arms. "How can I do that if I'm his assistant?" I asked. George rolled his eyes. "Figure it out yourself." I sighed.

"GEORGE! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Sapnap shouted at him from a mile away. "He needs to learn his lesson." George stated. "Just c'mon." Sapnap sighed, dragging George once again.

Once they were out of view I walked back the office. George still didn't tell me how am I meant to stay away. Soooooo just not gonna do it.

As soon as I stepped in Dream rushed to me. "TECHNO! Are you okay?" I nodded. "He was just threatening me." I told him. Dream sighed. "I'll talk to him." I shrugged. It didn't really affect me.

"Anyways, you need to tell me why you escaped." Great. Back to this. "So, uh. My dad wanted me to marry some girl that he found rich and pretty.. and uhh. I started arguing that no, I'm not going to marry her, because I wanted to marry.." I paused. God this would be so awkward. "I wanted to marry you" I turned away, I think my face is going red. "So he slapped me."

"I- uh-" Dream stuttered. I covered my eyes in embarrassment. He came over and took my hands off. He had his mask off. I stared into his emerald green eyes. He leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips. Then I think I froze. He started giggling. "Tech, please don't die." I came back to life.

"By the way," I started. "I know you're Smiles." He looked shocked. "What?! Since when?" Since your interview. Where you called yourself 'Dre'. What kind of name is that?" I started laughing, soon he joined in.

"I love you." Dream whispered. "I love you too." I smiled. He smiled as well. "I haven't seen your smile in so long.." I said. "Now you see it." "Yeah duh."

I kissed him again, but then there was knocking on the door. Dream rushed to his mask, putting it on. Once he was done, he nodded, and I opened the door.

"Sir, there's someone that wants to see you." The person quickly said. It seemed as if they were really scared. I heard loud screams from outside. "Okay, take me please." They nodded. "C'mon Bacon, let's go." Dream whispered softly. I nodded, following.

We walked into the main entrance plaza, and I froze. No no no no no no no no. I put my hands on my ears, falling on my knees.
