Yae Miko is a student in teyvat collage, where she majors in english literature, communications and international relations, she is a senior and graduates in August, four months from now. She shares a dormitory with her friend Ei, they have know each other since junior year in high school when Ei transferred. She is know as Yae to her friends, Ayato, Tartaglia, Lisa, Kaeya, Itto, and Yelan. However known as Miko to her roommate. She has had a small crush on Ei since they met. She's now in her Communications class with with zhongli, one of her friends that she met through Ei. They are talking about there upcoming oral presentations.
3rd person: NO ONES POV 'I don't want to present alone, I think it would be best if these weren't individual speeches' Zhongli said turning to Miko 'Don't you agree? Yae Miko?' 'Oh no, I believe it's best to work alone, then the attention whilst presenting remains on you' She replied with an emotionless smirk. The brunette man turned to the front of the lecture hall, no longer facing her. 'I see'. The puzzled look on his face leaving the girl to regain focus on her work. Zhongli, now unable to continue his work, filled with curiosity, sat silently wondering why the younger girl wanted to present alone. The man, as usual started to overthink. Was she always alone? He had rarely seen her with friends outside of eating with them at lunch, and he was yet to see her leave her dorm for reasons other than a school club or to purchase necessities.
*Ding Ding*
The bell goes and they prepare to head out. He reaches down beside him and grabs his bag. A brown book bag with muted gold patches and two small pins, a blue whale and what looked to be a white spider lily. He proceeds to stuff in his computer and follow the pink haired women down from their seats. 'Goodbye sir, thank you' they say almost in unison heading out of the room. As they walk down the halls wandering out of the building. The two find a seat outside, accompanying each other as they was for a certain group of students.
Zhongli POV Maybe I should say something. Is it rude to sit here not saying a word. I wonder how her project is going, should I ask? I really need help with mine. Maybe I shouldn't have chosen communications and finance as majors. I mean I will inherit the family business, college is purely so I can learn how to better engage with my peers.
'Zhongli if your frustration persists you will never finish that speech' Yae says pulling my attention. 'What are you talking about?, I'm perfectly fine' I reply. 'Your tapping your foot, you only do that when your puzzled, Is it anything I am able to assist you with?' I didn't know I did that. 'Your very observant Yae Miko.' I pause waiting for her to speak. 'Your a triple major Yae Miko, how do you propose you help me? You don't have much time to spare.' I pause once again as she remains silent. 'However, I must admit I am in need.' 'I know a young man who may be able to help you. He's quite capable for his age, he may be more better help than me this time.' 'Yae Miko thank you, that would be a tremendous help, if I may ask, what is his name?' 'Tartaglia' 'Oh, thank you so much, I'll ask at the main office for his dorm' Yae Miko hums 'Happy to help'
Tartaglia? Why would she suggest him, does she know anything.
3rd person Yae miko grabs her purse off the floor and collects her books off her lap. 'Goodbye, Zhongli hope you have a pleasant evening, I'll let Tartaglia know you'll be contacting him!' Miko stated holding her smile. 'Ahh thank you Miko, Goodbye.' Zhongli's eyes followed her as she ran up to Ayato smiling and waving back at the brunette. 'Brunette' god don't let me start saying orbs 😭 also ik I'm not a good writer but I still somehow pass my English lit class , barely (sad ik) should make this lemon ☝️?
