I was casually sitting inside the cafe near the university while waiting for my order to arrive.
Both of my hands were resting in the table lightly playing with the flower decorations that is placed in the middle of the table out of boredom when my phone continously buzz from my pocket.
I didn't bother to look at the call register and just answered it immediately.
"Ashanti, nasaan ka na ba?" I giggled lightly when I hear Ayah's panicked voice on the other line.
"Papunta na, dumaan lang ako ng cafe." I hear her sighed.
"Okay, Just go here after that." I bid her goodbye and ended the call after.
When I got my order I immediately leave the cafe rushing to go to the university while checkig the time in my wrist watch once in a while.
Lakad takbo ang ginawa ko nang papasok na ako ng university. Maraming estudiyante ang abala sa kanilang ginagawa. May iilan akong nababangga pero agad din akong nag sosorry bago tumakbo papuntang building.
pero bakit parang masyadong maraming students sa hallway?
Nasa entrance na ko ng building namin nang biglang may bumangga saking estudyante na halos mawalan na ako ng balanse kung hindi lamang nito naabot na hawakan ang likod ko.
At that split second a manly scent immediately runs to my nose.
How heavenly.
I took a glance at the coffee on my hands to see if it spills anything from the cup but luckily it did not.
I didn't bother to look at the guy. I just uttered a sorry then run again through the hallways of the building.
Nang makarating ako sa classroom ay mahigpit kong hinawakan ang doorknob bago pumikit at nagdasal na sana ay wala akong matatanggap na sermon galing sa prof. Huminga ako ng malalim bago binuksan ang pintuan.
I frowned and pout my lips when I saw Ayah grinning at me.
"Nakakainis ka." She burst out laughing at my statement.
Naglakad ako papalapit dito habang tinatapunan ito ng masasamang tingin. "Puro ka kase kape."
"Ayan inom pa alam mo naman kaseng may pasok ngayon uminom ka pa magdamag nung sabado." I scoffed upon hearing her rants
I grabbed my coffee and took a sip on it. " Nung sabado pa naman yon. Nakapagpahinga na ko kahapon."
Inabot ko sa kaniya ang isang kapeng hawak ko na agad naman niyang tinanggap.
"May nakabangga pa ko sa entrance ng building kanina dahil sayo." Kita ko ang panliliit ng mga mata nito. "Guy?" Tumango ako dito kahit hindi ko sigurado dahil hindi ko naman nakita ang mukha at naamoy ko lang ang pabango nito.
"Pogi ba?" Hindi makapaniwalang tiningnan ko ito.
"Hindi ko alam, hindi ko naman nakita." Kita ko ang pagsimangot nito habang humihigop ng kape.
" Paano mo nalamang lalake kung ganon?" She looks at me with an irritated expression plastered all over her pretty face.
"Mabango yung pabango. Super manly ng scent." I took a sip on my coffee while grinning at her.
Inirapan ako nito nang marinig ang sagot ko "Pass. Hindi mo naman nakita yung mukha." I laughed at her statement and just let her scold me with nonsense things that she sees on me that I can't. Geez she's like my mom.
We finish our coffee in the classroom but she wants to go outside which I disagree since I'm lazy to roam around but she's consistent to go and scolded me again so I got no choice but to follow her. We ended up in the school field bickering and laughing at each other.
