--Original characters from the Frozen Fire series--
Thunder: The Husky leader of The Whispers, he wields an SMG. Outside and inside of battle, Thunder instinctively takes the role of a leader with any group he's part of. He's a confident Husky as well, who's willing to lay it all on the line to finish what must be done, making him a strong fighter. Like the other Whispers however, he has been traumatized due to what has happened in his past, because of this, Thunder fights to move on from what happened in his past alongside the other Whispers.
Snow: Snow is a Golden Retriever who knows Thunder very well, he wields a sniper rifle inside of combat, and is often one of the first pups you'll see helping someone back onto their feet after they fall down, always wanting to be there to help someone no matter how he can. He's the second in command with the other Whispers, not because any of them are weaker than each other, but because he's been alongside Thunder in combat the longest. Like the other Whispers, he's traumatized from what happened in the past, and desperately wants to move on from it all to a peaceful life. But until he can live that peaceful life, he's determined to fight alongside the other Whispers to the very end.
Scarlet: The Beagle pilot of the Whispers. She was one of the first three members alongside Thunder and Snow, and acts as the spotter for Snow while he's sniping during a mission, and as the ace pilot of the team for combat and moving from one place to the other outside of a war zone. When she isn't flying her helicopter or being a spotter inside of combat, she wields her SMG and is prepared to fight to the end alongside the other Whispers. And outside of combat, she takes a supportive role, often being one of the first to give words of encouragement to get someone or some pup back on their feet.
Odin: A Black Labrador who is a member of the Barkingburg police force, who's now a Whisper as well. His family were killed by Ruben and Butch, two members of the Cobalt Order when he was young, inspiring him to join the force. He has a past with Chase, with the two of them training to become police dogs in Barkingburg, but has long since lost contact with the German Shepherd. Inside of battle, Odin wields a rifle and is known by the other Whispers as one of the biggest tacticians on the group, often masterfully creating strategies that would give them the best chance of accomplishing their objectives. He fights to avenge his parents, and protect all of dog kind.
Zeus: A Mastiff who was born into one of many puppy mills in Barkingburg. He lived there with many other dogs for eight long years, before the Whispers attacked the puppy mill and saved every single dog who was still alive inside of there, including him. Unfortunately, a lot of the dogs who were trapped there didn't survive, including his parents; but now that Zeus is a Whisper, he is determined to put an end to the Cobalt Order for absolutely everything they've done. Outside of battle, Zeus loves to play games with others, often playing tug of war and hide and seek, still trying to learn more about the world after spending eight long years trapped inside of the puppy mill that he was born into.
Blaze (Blazing Avalanche version): Marshall's father in Blazing Avalanche. When he was alive, he was a fire pup in Washington city. After his mate's tragic death during a forest fire, his only son Marshall ran away and went missing. He was eventually found in Adventure Bay, and Blaze was able to finally have a reunion with his son around a week before he passed on in Washington.
Smoke (Blazing Avalanche version): Marshall's mother in Blazing Avalanche. When she was alive, just like Blaze, she was a fire pup in Washington city. After around three years of a peaceful life after Marshall was born, a massive forest fire happened, and nearly every firefighter and fire pup was called, including Smoke. Blaze stayed behind to look after Marshall, but Smoke ended up sustaining critical injuries while saving a family from the forest, leading to her death in a hospital and the other events of the Frozen Fire series.
Rebecca: An animal therapist from Adventure City. When her company received a call from Ryder regarding two dogs in need of therapy sessions, Rebecca was the one sent to Adventure Bay. However, her role in the team has evolved from a therapist for Marshall and Everest. With the two pups missing, she's joined the team full time as a therapist, determined to help the pups and Ryder through thick and thin.
--Original characters from the Dalmatian series--
Blaze (ADR version): Like in the Frozen Fire series, Blaze is Marshall's father but unlike his version in that series, Blaze is still alive in the present. However, after an extremely bad argument between Marshall and Blaze and Smoke, Marshall left Azura, the hometown of his family and where he was born to end up in Adventure Bay. Blaze himself is a former police dog in the Dalmatian trilogy, and wants his pups to follow in his or Smoke's footsteps to bring further honor to this family name. However, this causes multiple clashes of ideals between Marshall and his parents in the Dalmatian trilogy.
Smoke (ADR version): Just like Blaze, Smoke is Marshall's mother in a lot of Paw Patrol related series of books I've done. Unlike the Frozen Fire series of Smoke, she is still alive in the present just like Blaze. However on the 50th anniversary of Azura's founding, an argument that tore Marshall's family apart happened after Marshall failed a police course, which had opened for the public on the 50th anniversary of the founding of Azura. This sparked an argument between Blaze and Marshall that has shattered their bond even to the present. Smoke herself is a former therapy dog in the Dalmatian trilogy, she isn't as obvious about her wishes for her pups to follow in her and Blaze's footsteps unlike Blaze, but she subtly mentioned it in a lot of interactions.
Cookie: Cookie is one of Marshall's siblings in the Dalmatian trilogy, she's the youngest of the three siblings and was completely heartbroken when the family discovered a note left behind by Marshall before he left Azura. She cherishes the bonds she has with her family and loves each dog in the family very genuinely, but if push comes to shove, she isn't afraid to speak her mind, even to those she truly loves. In the present of the Dalmatian trilogy, she wants to make up for lost time with Marshall along with the rest of her family, but understands that he has important work to do in the Paw Patrol.
Kai: Marshall's other sibling in the Dalmatian trilogy, he's the middle sibling out of the three, and was heartbroken along with Cookie when the family discovered a small piece of paper with a written note on it in the house, which was when they discovered that the note was from Marshall. He really looks up to his father, Blaze, and is currently under his wing to become a police dog in the future, and as such, looks up to Chase as a mentor as well. But like the rest of his family, in the present he's currently trying to make up for lost time with Marshall, but in the back of his mind, he does want Marshall back with them living in Azura, however selfish that may seem, but he understands that it's Marshall's choice at the end of the day.
