Your mom then went up to your room. She knocked on the door.

Y/N: "Come in.."

She walked in and saw you sitting on the bed with your head down.

Y/N's mom: "Hey sweetie.."

Y/N: "Hey."

Y/N's mom: "Where's Eddie? You usually come home with him."

Y/N: "I didn't ride home with him today."

Y/N's mom: "Did something happen between you two?"

You shook your head.

Y/N's mom: "That's good."

She was about to sit down with you when she heard a knock at the door. She went down and opened the door to see Eddie.

Eddie: "Hey, is Y/N here?"

Y/N's mom: "Yeah. She's here. Mind joining me upstairs with her? Something's bothering her."

Eddie: "Yeah."

Both of them then headed back to your room.

Eddie: "Hey sweetheart."

Y/N: "Hey."

You lifted your head a little bit. Eddie then bent down to hug you. You hugged him back. Then, they both sat on the bed with you.

Eddie: "What's got you so down today?"

Y/N: "Well, you know Jason is back at school."

Eddie: "Yeah, what about him? He's not causing more issues, is he?"

You went silent for a moment. He was always causing issues. It seemed to be his specialty.

Y/N: "Well, let's just say he said some things that kind of.. reminded me of back home.."

Eddie was just completely lost.

Eddie: "What?"

Y/N's mom: "She used to get bullied back at her old school. That's why we moved in the first place, along with her dad's passing. But, it didn't do much good apparently."

Eddie: "Oh."

He then hugged you again.

Eddie: "What did he say?"

Y/N: "Well, he said that I was nothing to anybody and that you were going to.. use me."

Eddie: "Sweetheart, that's not true. I would never use you. You're the sweetest girl I've ever met. I could never do that to you. Or anyone. Plus, you are something. You're something to me, to your mom, and the boys adore you."

Y/N: "Mhm."

You were in a state where you didn't believe anything. Both your mom and Eddie could tell and it broke them. Your mom mostly because it happened before and it was happening again. She just hugged you and was about to leave. Before she did, she looked at Eddie with a look of 'Try to help the best you can'. She then left the room. That's when you climbed into Eddie's lap and finally hugged him back.

Eddie: "It's going to be okay. We're going to figure this out. I'll be here with you the entire time, okay?"

You just nodded. You both sat there for a while until your mom called you guys down for dinner. You both went down to eat. Though, when your mom gave you your plate, you didn't even feel like eating. All you did was play with your food.

Y/N's mom: "Honey, please take one bite. I can't have you going into that bad habit."

Y/N: "Fine."

You took a bite. Then it just kinda continued until you finished your plate. You didn't exactly plan to eat the whole meal, but you did anyway. Your body took over on its drive for food.

Y/N's mom: "Thank you, sweetie."

Y/N: "Mhm."

You then went to rinse off your plate. As you did that, Eddie came up behind you and hugged you. He rested his head on your shoulder. You couldn't help but let a little smile slip. He looked up to see you smiling.

Eddie: "There's that pretty smile I missed."

You giggled at him. Your mom watched you guys, smiling herself. She was happy that he made you smile even in the darkest times that you were going through. After that, she got the plates and washed them while you two hung out in your room.

Y/N: "Thanks for making me smile. I didn't think it would be possible."

Eddie: "Anytime, princess. You do realize I love seeing you smile and hate seeing you sad, right?"

Y/N: "I know. Same for you, though. I hate seeing you sad."

He then kissed you. Like usual, you kissed him back. He playfully bit at your bottom lip before pulling away, a proud smirk crossing his lips.

Eddie: "I have something for you."

Y/N: "No. I don't need gifts."

Eddie: "Trust me, okay?"

Y/N: "Fine."

He then took off his jean jacket, the one he wore every single day, and handed it to you.

Eddie: "Keep it."

Y/N: "Thanks Eds."

You then put it in your closet. He then realized he had to get back home so he hugged and kissed you before he left. He then made his way downstairs. He hugged your mom too before he left. The rest of the night, you just chilled in your room feeling a little bit better. You just weren't ready for what tomorrow would bring you.
