I sat on a bathtub and brought my hands to my face. This can't be true. I was just a puppet. Just a thing to make him think about something else but her. Why did she never tell me about the kiss, I thought we were best friends 

"Holy?" The soft voice said as the bathroom door slowly opened revealing Ryder standing there like a statue 

"My boyfriend loves my best friend" I mumbled and sobbed 

I heard Ryder's voice hitch before he slowly walked up to me and stood me up to look into my face 

His blue orbs looked deep into my soul before he held me by my waist and hugged me 

I didn't expect such a thing from him but I hugged him anyway and sobbed into his chest while he had his chin on my head 

"That boy doesn't deserve you at all, cupcake" He whispered as I cried harder "He's just proof that evolution can go in reverse," He said too seriously causing me to chuckle softly

He pulled away to look at me again "See? You don't need him. You are a strong woman that can do everything by herself and doesn't need any jerk to cause her more problems. You are you, you are sweet, funny, honest, you love your friends but the main thing, is you are strong. Maybe even stronger than me" He smirked while I laughed "Keep the smile there okay? Now let's go eat pizza, I'm hungry as fuck" He stated and held me by my hand before leading me into the kitchen

After we talked it all out, we started talking about positive stuff again while eating my favorite pizza. I think I'll forget about Mason soon

That's a lie. A big one. It's been over a month since Mason told me and I've never felt worse in my life. 

I think about him 24/7. My dad reacted like he was going to Oregon just to kill him and then come back and act as if nothing happened. Harry promised me that as soon as he finds him, he will kill him too and Ryder did the same

I and Ryder get along. During the project, we hang out and talk, eat pizza, or go out to do something funny but Mason is always in my head

Daisy tried to call me almost every day but I didn't pick up not even once. I kinda miss my best friend but this is not what best friends do. She probably found out what Mason said to me because she left me a lot of messages about how sorry she is that she wanted to tell me but was scared about my reaction. Bullshit

I and our group of friends are going to the party tonight. They all know about my breakup and always try to light up my mood by doing weird things 

A car honk brought me out of my thoughts. I walked out of my house in black ripped jeans, a white tank top, and a flannel on the top.

I jumped into Harry's car and we drove off 

"It suits you" Harry complimented while looking at the road

"Thanks" I grinned and started to talk to Jenna about the shift on Sunday

After about 10 minutes, we get to the house. It smells like alcohol and sex and don't let me start with the look. Everyone in this house was drinking their asses off or making out with whoever they find

We walked into the kitchen and met the others. Jared gave all of us some drinks before we all walked into the living room and talked

After a few more drinks, Nick sat next to me and put his hand behind my seat

"You still fucked up because of that moron?" He asked, I can hear that alcohol get into his system but who am I kidding, I'm already drunk too

"Yeah" I mumbled and hit my head on his shoulder

"You ever smoke weed?" I looked at the others if they can hear us but they were too into talking

"A few times," I said into his shoulder

"What about something stronger so you will forget about that jerk?" He sounded like he had already done something

"I don't know, what if I'll become addicted?" I asked seriously and looked up at him

"I'm taking it for a few years now and I can stop for weeks and don't miss anything" he tilted his head and looked down at me

"Okay, what do you have?"

"Come outside in the backyard in two minutes and excuse yourself for the toilet," he said and stood up to leave

I watched him open the backyard door before he was nowhere to be seen. I sipped my beer for a few more minutes before I told Jenna I'm going on the toilet and walked around the whole house to get into the backyard without anyone seeing me

I walked behind the house and saw a few lights, a pool, and a little wooden cottage.

Nick was standing by the cottage door and when he saw me, he opened it and we both walked in

There were a few other guys with cigarettes in between their lips and white lines on the table in the middle of the room

The room had smoke on the top so I coughed a few times before I slowly get used to it and sat down on one of the chairs

"Guys that's Holy. Her boyfriend broke up with her after she found out that he loves her best friend. Holy, that's Bryan, Cole, Will, and the guy in the farthest end that's Noah, he is giving us this shit" Nick said as he sat down next to me and took a cigarette from the table

"Your boyfriend sounds pretty like an asshole. Come on take this" the boy named Noah hand me a little pack with a white powder

"You ever did something?" Bryan asked, he was the one who was next to me on the other side

"Just weed" I mumbled and looked closer at the packet

"Alright, lemme help you" he mumbled and took a bag from my hand before emptying it on the glass table "take the card" he mumbled and hand me the credit card

He took my hand in his and helped me to make a line. He slipped the card across the powder and made a perfect thin line

"There you go" he smiled at me and hand me a £5 note "roll it and then" he made a breathing sound and then rested his back against the chair

I swallowed the lump in my throat before rolling the note in my hand and looking at Nick. He nodded his head assuringly so I looked back down at the white line

What if I get addicted to it? What if I won't have enough? What if I'll do something crazy after I take it?

"Just do it, don't think about it any further," Noah said before I nodded my head before leaning above the table and inhaling the powder into one of my nostrils

The boys cheered I chuckled and leaned back against the chair.

I started to be lightheaded as the whole world spun around and around until it suddenly stopped

I took a deep breath before I started to laugh and looked at Nick. He chuckled and shook his head

"I gave her the easiest one, mate" Noah chuckled and inhaled a cigarette before rubbing it against the table and throwing it on the ground

"You want something more?" Bryan asked and put his hand on the chair behind me

"No, I think I have enough" I chuckled and stood up

"Whoa, where are you going, love?" Bryan held me gently by my wrist but the pressure was telling me to stay

"Just for a walk" I grinned and get out of his grip before walking out of the cottage to meet people dancing all around the pool. Some of the people were making out in the water but no one really cared

I bumped into a few people that were dancing to the music. It feels like all of the people suddenly decided to go here because I didn't see anyone in the house through the glass door

I was walking towards the door when someone bumped into me which caused me to fall right into the pool. I would do something but that powder really get into me

What's his name? Noah! I have to get more of these from him, it feels good

The last thing I remember is someone's hands holding me before everything went black
