Kazuha tries his best to stay still as you try to paint it, it was all going smoothly until he snezed, You complained to him how he needed to stay still but the merling just couldn't hold it in. A long while later you had finish your portrait and stood up to show him, he was amazed by how it turned out and cherished it, he kived it almosy as much as he loved y- I mean your mom dammit. Anyways, you and kazuha return to your ship as kazuha tries to figure out a way to get the portrait into the water without destroying it, then he remembered that he could use a charm to do so, he used this special charm and continued to walk with you, you were confused but brushed it off, you arrive at the ship and you boared it and waved goodbye, kazuha waved back with a smile as the crew continued working the merling jumped into the water and disappeared, You went to your room and thought about what happened today, first You had kissed kazuha, then you and Kazuha went to sorta a date. You were confused on how to feel and couldn't quite process things but you soon fell asleep, with kazuha was a little diffrent though, kazuha was being scolded for being reckless and carefree hr just wnated to love you and live a happy life with you but aince his mother thinks he can't because of a sailor that broke her heart she tries to keep him safe. He wasn't allowed to go see you for days locked in his house with nothing to do he tried sending messages in a bottle allowing him to contact you, sadly most of them got stranded or lost in the sea leaving him sad because of no reply. ——————————————————————— Days had passed and you qere qorried about kazuha, he hasn't come back in a long while anf you were worried you were waiting for him to return, if you told yourself years ago you'd be worried over a merling you would have laughed so hard. Yet here you are, crying, sobbing, and sorrowful because of a merling who hasn't returned. He completed you to say the the least, you were like a line without a hook without him, or a fish with no gills. You just needed him, and he needed you, but at last no contact for days can lead you to lose hope. To be continued...
