07 ; anger

I looked through my hunter journal to find the photos of the pack that contained the ass that broke my heart. It was on a hunt after my dad left us, but before he died. They seemed nice enough, but then again so do I, and I'm definitely not good.

I looked and saw the pictures, the entire pack had their eyes closed in the picture, which didn't make much sense until I remembered what made the shape shifters eyes glow on film. Tapetum Lucidum. It was an extra layer of tissue in the eye that gave superior eyesight and made dog eyes glow.

I looked at the picture of us, we looked so happy. I scrumpled the photo into a ball but didn't bin it, instead I cut open the Argent's mattress and hid it inside. Some might say that it was a tad rude to cut up someone's mattress but I'd tell them that my mother wasn't around to teach me manners. That tends to shut people up real quick.

I covered the bed up with the duvet and sat on the bed, contemplating how complicated my situation seemed. I laughed wildly when I realised that I had an advantage, a way of knowing who was a werewolf. Just take a snapshot and then I'd have the entire town profiled.

Ten points - me, zero points - everyone else.

I ambled down the stairs and stopped when I saw Victoria Argent waiting at the bottom. She was clearly waiting to corner me. I tried creeping up the stairs but she called my name and I let out a huffy sigh.

"Emily, I'm glad I caught you. We need to talk, I'm not awfully sure what's been going on as of late, it almost seems as if you're avoiding me," She accused with narrowed eyes and I felt myself grow rather annoyed.

"Yeah, sure, act like you didn't just let me stay here so that I could kill your daughter's boyfriend. I know he's a mutt, don't even try to deny your true intentions behind him being here. I just don't understand why you don't just kill him yourself." I glared at her and her face grew furrowed.

"Where did you hear that? It is not true, I swe-"

I waved my arm impatiently to silence her, "Oh save it, I know what you did. Don't bother denying it."

"Fine. I got you here to kill Mccall. I was trying to protect my only daughter, do you really blame me? And if I killed him she'd hate me, so I thought that you could do it. You don't have a code, you rogue hunters barely even have morals! So excuse me if I thought you wouldn't have a problem with taking one kid's life!" She yelled and I was taken aback, I trusted this women, I thought she cared about me. But she used, lied and manipulated me.

"I trusted you! Despite everything I've been through, all of the people that have screwed me over, I. Trusted. YOU! Don't you get what that means? For a Winchester to trust you, you're pretty damn lucky. But from here on, you are nothing to me. You will let me stay here, because you have to but do not come to me for any help. I will not kill Mccall, if you want Scott dead, you're gonna have to do it yourself," I stared the woman down with eyes that had a bitterness beyond their age. I turned to walk away but she spoke again.

"I don't understand, this is what you do. You've done this before, killed an innocent. I know you have, you don't even have a code for God's sake!" She yelled with a hint of dismay.

"NO!" I roared back, "You don't understand! I AM A WINCHESTER! Demons hear my name and run, I have been to hell and back, you bitch! Do not even try to understand me, because you can't! I spent forty god damn years either being cut up, or cutting people up myself, and you know what the worst part is? I enjoyed it. I tortured in hell, I made people scream for me to stop, and I fucking loved it! So don't pretend to get me. Leave me alone or I will fucking kill you, and I won't regret it, I won't feel any remorse because I am past feeling, past pain. For all intensive purposes, I'm dead. So just let me rest in goddamn peace, Victoria," A single tear glided down my cheek and I swept out of the room, leaving Victoria to consider my revelation.
