"What has she done now?" Natasha casts an eye up from where her chin is slumped atop her arms that rest on the table surface.

"How'd you know she's done something?"

Yelena scoffs from her position on the other side of the counter.

"You're moping. You don't don't mope unless something's happened with Wanda or dad calls. Last I checked, dad hasn't called in weeks."

Natasha sighs and drops her head back down onto the table. "I just thought she'd say it by now."

"Ok you've lost me. What is she supposed to have already said?"

"Y'know the whole 'I love you' speech."

Yelena stares at her. Natasha squirms.

"If this is worrying you so much, why don't you just say it first?"

Natasha stares at her bewildered, "I don't want to overwhelm her if it's too soon. I'm going at her pace. So she doesn't get uncomfortable."

It's silent for a few minutes until Natasha speaks up again, her voice a whisper.

"Is it me? Have I been doing something wrong and she doesn't know how to let me down easily?"

Yelena frowns and grabs Natasha's hands across the table.

"Sestra, you and Wanda have been together for over a year now. Everyone can see how perfect you are for each other. Anytime I see her I can tell how in love with you she is."

Natasha's hair covers her face as her head falls. "Then why hasn't she said anything yet?"

"Maybe she has, just not in the way you're thinking."

"What do you mean?" Confusion clouds Natasha's voice. Yelena sighs and shakes her head.

"Maybe instead of verbally saying the words, she's expressing them in ways you haven't noticed."

"Pineapple does not belong on pizza!" Wanda's voice echoes throughout the small cafe as they walk in.

Natasha grins, "It's delicious on pizza! Have you ever tried it?"

Wanda narrows her eyes at her as they approach the counter. "No it's an abomination to pizza, fruit shouldn't go on pizza."

"Pizza sauce is made from tomatoes and tomatoes are fruits."

They don't notice the barrister hiding a laugh behind the counter when they finally get up to the front. Wanda narrows her eyes at her girlfriend, lost for a comeback.

"Go grab us a table and think about what you've started." Natasha laughs as she walks away, her sights set on a table near the back window.

Halfway there she turns around again, remembering she forgot to tell Wanda her usual order. On her journey back to the counter she can hear Wanda's conversation with the barista.

"Hazelnut latte with almond milk, an extra shot of espresso with vanilla and caramel syrup, can I also have it lightly stirred please."

Wanda recites it with clear clarity that Natasha thinks she's memorized it. Wanda recites her own order and shoots Natasha a bright smile.

Natasha jumps back into action and claims their original window seat.

Pondering, Natasha twiddles with her fingers as she waits for Wanda to come sit. They've only gotten coffee together a handful of times while they've been dating and Natasha normally orders since hers is complicated. She thinks back and can't remember ever telling Wanda her order. Still puzzled, Natasha watches as Wanda approaches with the two drinks and sets them down gently.

"What's wrong?" Wanda's looking at her with a concerned expression. Natasha realizes that her eyebrows are furrowed together.

Reaching across the table, Wanda reaches up to soothe the spot between Natasha's eyebrows.

Natasha sighs and relaxes her eyes.

Wanda's hand trails down Natasha's face until it rests against her jawline, the redhead's hand comes up to caress her wrist.

"How did you remember my order?"

Wanda smirks as she responds, leaning back into her seat to pour sugar into her cup.

"I remember everything about you."
