Natasha hates waking up alone.

For the past Christmas break Wanda had been sleeping over at Natasha's apartment since they didn't have any early classes to rush off too. Natasha had gotten accustomed to the warm body and gentle kisses that greeted her in the mornings.

But now the break is over and she has to get ready for her morning class.

Wanda had left in the early morning due to Natasha's insistence that she spend one more night with her. She distinctly remembers a kiss against her temple and words whispered to her but she was too far gone to fully wake up.

Groaning, Natasha swings her legs over the side of her bed, shivering as the cold winter air chills her spine. She raises her arms up and stretches, grabbing her phone off the nightstand where it's charging when finished.

Her smile sparkles and widens as she reads the notification from Wanda.

Wanda: Good morning my love! I hope you have a wonderful day and I can't wait to see your beautiful face tonight. -Sent at 7:13 am

The first morning text Wanda had sent her was 6 months after they first started dating. Wanda said it was so she could start off her day talking to her favorite person.

(Pietro always protests and rolls his eyes but Wanda makes the argument that she lives with him so she doesn't miss him).

Natasha: Good morning! Are we still on for around 6? -Sent at 7:36 am

Natasha makes her way to her bathroom to start getting ready before her 9 o'clock class. From her closet she picks out some of her nicer grey slacks and a forest green sweater that Natasha stole from Wanda's house. She tops it off with a dark brown leather belt. She lightly curls her hair and is finishing the final touches of jewelry when her phone rings with a few notifications.

Wanda: Yes let's plan on 6 -Sent 8:07 am

Wanda: Are u thinking take-out or staying in?
-Sent 8:07 am

Wanda: Also do u still want to drive or can I come get you? -Sent 8:07 am

Natasha: How about I pick up something on the way to your house? -Sent 8:09 am

Wanda: Are u sure? I can grab food before you get off from your last class. -Sent 8:10 am

Natasha: I'll get it. I might come home and change before I come over. -Sent 8:16 am

Wanda: Don't feel like you have to change when you come over. You look beautiful in everything you wear.
-Sent 8:19 am

Natasha: Flirt -Sent 8:24 am

Natasha: I do have to leave though but I'll text you throughout the day. -Sent 8:24 am

Wanda: I'm just appreciating what's mine.
-Sent 8:25 am

Wanda: I'll see you tonight gorgeous! -Sent 8:26 am

Natasha blushes as she makes her way to the campus building. Despite having been dating Wanda for over a year now, Natasha still isn't used to the constant genuine compliments that naturally fall from Wanda's lips.

Arriving at her first class of the day she pockets her phone and pulls out her notebook.

Wanda: If Medusa's hair is snakes, does that mean she can't shave since it would technically be animal abuse? -Sent 3:47 pm

Natasha has to do a double take at Wanda's message. She snorts and quickly clasps her hand over her mouth. She looks up to see if her professor noticed her on her phone before she texts back.
