Natasha is so focused on her homework in front of her that she doesn't notice when someone comes into her room.
She jumps when she feels hands on her shoulders and a kiss to the side of her head.
Whipping her headphones off and turning around, she's met with the sight of Wanda looking at her with concern.
"What's going on in here?"
Her voice is so soft and soothing that Natasha just wants to wrap herself in it like a blanket and cry.
She has an essay due in a few hours and she can't for the life of her transfer anything onto paper. Yelena was no help and left hours ago after Natasha snapped at her to be quiet.
Slamming her hands against her face, Natasha gripes, "Nothing good is coming out that I can put in this essay and Yelena was absolutely no help and we just started fighting! Not to mention Clint's been blowing up my phone for the past 2 hours over his new date despite me telling him to stop and I can't turn my phone off in case my professors happen to send out an email or my dumbass partner needs to get a hold of me. Which we have a presentation due tomorrow and he hasn't even started on his part of it! And-"
She's cut off by soft lips pressed against hers. Eyes fluttering shut, Natasha wraps her arms around Wanda's neck and hands tangle in her hair. Her tongue traces Wanda's bottom lip and the brunette opens her mouth with a groan.
After a few minutes, Wanda gently tapers off their kissing despite Natasha's whimpers.
"Have you eaten anything today?" Wanda's voice breaks through Natasha as she gently removes Natasha's hands from her neck so she can hold them. Wanda's eyes are soft as she gazes at Natasha's face and Natasha can't help it when stray tears start to fall.
Wanda brings her hands up to cup the redhead's face and gently brushes her tears away with her thumbs as she repeats her question.
The question brings Natasha to a halt. When had she last eaten? She had bypassed breakfast in favor of going to the gym before homework and looking at the clock, she realized that she skipped lunch and most of the afternoon.
She sheepishly meets Wanda's gaze and shakes her head negatively.
"Well, good thing I brought you something! I figured you hadn't eaten anything today after you called me this morning." Wanda produces a brown bag from the floor and holds it up for Natasha to see.
"Is that what I think it is?"
Wanda nods, proud of herself. She pulls out an array of different foods from the bag and scatters them on the floor in their take out containers.
Once done, Wanda gently grabs Natasha from her desk chair and leads her to the floor, sitting across from her.
"We normally eat at the table." Natasha teases.
"I think we can make an exception this time."
