I'm walking to my school for my first day of first grade when I see my neighbor walk out of his house. I decide to go and greet him. I walk up to him.
"Hi" I said
"Hey" he mumbled
I wondered why he was in a poopy mood but continued to walk with him.
"What's your name?" I asked
"Tobias"
"That's waaaayyyyy too long. I'm gonna call you Toby."
No reply. I knew I was being really annoying but I continued to make him talk anyway.
"My name is Beatrice. But that's as long as Tobias so you can call me Bea."
I was starting to get annoyed with him. But before I could punch him in the face we arrived at school.
I was so happy when I saw Christiana,Will,Zeke, and Uriah there too. I introduced them to Toby who suprisingly talked.We all laughed and talked until the stupid bell had to ring. Which meant even more stupider class. Our teacher acted all nice but I knew deep down inside she knew she was gonna become our worst nightmare by the middle of the school year.
I sat between Toby and Christiana while Will Zeke and Uriah sat behind us. The teacher shot a questioned look at us and we just smiled innocently. This is gonna be a fun year.
