Untitled Part 3

I didn't know that that day will be the last day that we see each other for a month or even a yearbecause the next day, a breaking news spread around the world saying that some of the country will be lockdown because of the global pandemic COVID 19.

 We can't go to other place nor go outside to buy some foods or visit some establishment because of the lockdown.

 I started to worried myself for my grandparents because they already old and I'm afraid that they might be the target of the virus since their immune system is that not strong anymore. 

Luckily, as weeks, months and years passed by they are healthy and that made my heart calm for a while not until...

KRIIIIIING KRIIIIIIING KRIIIIIIING.....

Our landline phone rang while I'm doing my home works,

 I studied at home since we can't go outside. 

I left what I am doing and about to answer the phone but daddy already answered it, I excitedly waiting for them to say that it's my grandparents whose calling us because they missed us

 but... 

I lost all my hope when I saw my dad face.

He started to cry for I don't know the reason behind his tears.

 I waited patiently to know the reason. 

The call ended and I went to him because his knees became weak.

"Dad, what happen? Who is that? Why are your crying?" I asked him. He didn't answered me, instead he hugged me tight.

"Common Daddy, tell me the reason of your tears. You started to make me scared. Daddy tell me please." I'm begging him to tell me why he's crying. 

Mom hurriedly went to us when she heard that we're crying.

"What's going on? Why the two of you crying?" Mom asked but no one answered her.

"Ronald what's going on? Please tell me what's going on?" Mom went to dad and hug him to make him calm so he can utter the words he wanted to say to us. I can sense that it's a bad news.

"I-it's my brother, h-he...h-he told me t-that....." Daddy started to cry again and didn't finished his words.

I ran towards their room and search for the key of our car.  

Mom saw me holding the key car.

"What's on your mind Ysabelle? You can't drive for heaven sake! What are you planning to do huh?!" Mom shouted at me.

"Give me the key, please sweetie please give me that." Mom beg as she cried.

 I immediately run to her and hug her when I saw tears falling into her eyes.

"I' sorry mom. I'm sorry. I-I just w-want to s-see Lola. Please Mom, Dad I'm begging." I beg to them between my cries.

"Hush sweetie." Dad hug me and wipe my tears. 

"We will go there okay? Everything's gonna be okay,stop crying please. " Dad make me calm while Mom caress me.

"Can we go now daddy? I want to be there now please." I beg.

"Yes sweetie, we're going now. Go change your clothes, we'll ready ourselves too." upon hearing it, I run towards to my room and immediately change my clothes and do my stuff.
