Bellatrix woke up quite abruptly but it wasn't from a nightmare this time, which she was happy about. Hermione was snuggled up next to her with her curls reaching over to Bellatrix's side of the bed, so Bellatrix pushed them back over to her lover's side and stretched her arms and legs, knowing she wouldn't accidentally get caught on Hermione's hair like she had done a couple weeks ago.

Bellatrix lifted herself up out of bed and went out into the kitchen only to be met with the most dreadful thing she would ever have to deal with. Today was the day her and Hermione had to have drinks with all her friends. The red-head, the in-the-clouds girlfriend of the red-head, her own Nephew, the Nephew's nerdy boyfriend, hopefully not the way-too-flirty other red-head, and possibly the manageable goth chick. Hermione described them all quite differently, but from the way she attentively listened, those were the best descriptions she could give to them all separately.

She managed to make herself a cup of hot cocoa with some marshmallows and some chocolate milk for her girlfriend who would be awake in a couple minutes. It was the final weekend of August, and the last day of the way too hot for comfort month. That just meant that Hermione's birthday was coming up, and they would be searching for their new apartment very soon. Bellatrix was telling herself she was thrilled to move in with Hermione but a distant and quiet part of her was getting comfortable in this small apartment she had now made her own home. She knew where all the utensils were, where to find her comfort books and movies, and which sink in their bathroom had better water pressure. She knew she could figure these things out at the new place, but what if they wouldn't tickle her fancy as well?

"Someone's deep in thought. Are you frightened to see my friends tonight? I mean we've been back home for quite a while now and you've only met Ginny. I think it's time." Bellatrix felt like she was being given an inspirational speech which she ended by handing her girlfriend her drink and jumping up on the counter. "Ginny is fine, pet. I just feel weird being the only one in my forties around a group of children and my own nephew." She curled a piece of hair around her finger to distract herself from the pit in her stomach.

Hermione set her chocolate milk down and spread Bellatrix's legs apart to stand between them. "Bella, you don't consider me as a kid and all of my friends are my age. I don't think that's the actual problem. You need to get out of your comfort zone of only hanging around your sisters and have some fun! I'm not saying Cissy and Andy aren't fun, but you never seem extremely ecstatic around them. Maybe you have a younger soul than you let yourself think." Hermione inched her hands up Bellatrix's thighs. "I mean, you're a wild little beast in bed, so how much harder would it be for you to live a little with my friends? Please just try to let loose a bit with us." Hermione stepped up on her tip-toes and kissed Bellatrix on the nose and turned around to start making breakfast. "Oh also, I plan on drinking so expect me to give you a lap dance or something of the sort." She was smirking which made Bellatrix jump off the counter and smother her girlfriend with kisses on her cheeks and her neck.

"You'll be the death of me, Hermione Granger."

"If that ever happens, may we rest together until the end of existence."

Hermione wore a dress that she knew Bellatrix would want to pull off of her as soon as she saw it. It was a velvet green mid thigh dress with silver accents around the neck. She put on some simple smokey eye makeup and a dark red lipstick. Once she was satisfied with her outfit she left the bedroom where Bellatrix was waiting in a wine red suit with a black dress shirt underneath her blazer. It was paired perfectly with a black tie and a simple silver chain necklace. Bellatrix turned to see her girlfriend and nearly spit out the water she was drinking.
