"Ugh! Y/n, you idiot! Watch where you're going!" Isabela shouted, her face scrunching up in anger as you held your head in pain. She walked past you and flicked some flowers at you, which was surprisingly painful. What a way to greet eachother after all these years.
You scoffed, hoping you never cross paths with her again. You stepped into the guest room, absorbing the warm candle-lit ambience. You plunked yourself straight in the middle of the springy, plush bed. The bed frame was ornate, with intricately carved designs representing each one of the Madrigals. You sunk into the mattress, the fluffy comforter feeling like heaven. You're taking in all the effort they put in for you when you hear a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" you half-yell, and Julieta responds in her gentle, cool tone. "Y/n, is there anything you need to make you more comfortable?" Ugh, maybe have Isabela sleep outside tonight. You wanted to say that, but couldnt build the courage to. "No thanks Julieta, thank you." You could feel her bright smile from the other side of the door, "Alright, call me if you need anything. You know where I am."
And with that, you buried your head into probably the softest pillow you've felt. Everything was so comfortable, you fell asleep almost immediately. That night, you dreamt about that horrible Senorita Perfecta Isabela, just thinking about her made you want to hurl. You woke up in the middle of the night, sweating profusely. You heard distant shouting, so you got up and walked over to the window.
Casita opened the window up for you, and you could see Isabela growing all types of plants, swinging from vines, and jumping on mushrooms. You were shocked. You finally thought that, maybe, just maybe, Isabela isnt a total jerkwad.
