I was in my room on facebook, talking to Quinn, when my foster brother Josh came into my room.
"Who's Quinn?" He asked.
"I've told you a million times, Josh, he is my boyfriend. And I'm not just talking to Quinn, I'm talking to JT too." I said.
"Whatever." He said, staring over my shoulder.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Mom wants you down stairs. Family meeting." He said.
"Then why are you telling me?" I said.
"Cuz your part of the family." He said.
"You guys have funny ways of showing it." I said.
"Just get downstairs before shit happens." He said, leaving.

I walked downstairs and came to the group with everyone else.
"Nice of you to join us Sky." Jan, my foster mom said.
"Ya, whatever." I said.
"Okay so I know Laney and Sky are still getting used to us and I want you both to know that we are your family now. You don't have to be afraid of us." Jan said.
Ya... until I stay out 2 minutes past cerfue. Then I get beat.
"Oh ya then what do you call this bruse your husband gave me." I said, pointing to my cheek.
"He was drunk Sky. That was an accadent." Jan said.
"You do know I could report that to Dave and have your license suspended." I said.
"Sky stop." Laney interrupted.
"Fine." I said, running up to my room.
I sure am still adjusting to this "new life."
