I heard a knock at my bedroom door.
"Sky, are you okay?" I heard a small voice say.
I looked up and saw Beth standing there with a worried look on her face.
"Yes beth, I'm fine." I said.
"Did I upset you?" She asked.
"No. I'm just super excited to meet you again." I lied.
"Okay, can I asked you something?" she asked.
"Sure come here." I said scooching over so she could sit on my bed.
Beth lowly walked over to my bed and sat next to me.
"Do you know where Jake is?" She asked.
"You remember him?" I asked.
"Of course. Where is he. Shouldn't he be out of the system by now?" She asked.
"Beth honey, you know that he's 19 now. If he hasn't come for us yet, he never will." I said.
"But I want to see him." She said.
"I know. Trust me, I want to see him too. I will try to get us out of here as soon as I can okay." I said.
"Okay. Hey Sky?" She said. Before leaving my room.
"Ya?..." I asked.
"I missed you a lot." She said.
"I missed you too." I said.
I was left with my thoughts for a couple minutes, then I got on my computer.
I hate not knowing. I'm looking him up.
I went on google. I searched:
Jacob Oliver James
When I got results, I found his FaceBook page.
I scrolled through his news feed and saw a post from my birthday, only 3 weeks ago, that said:
Happy birthday to my little sis Skyler James. I miss you so much. I know it has been 3 years since I saw you, and I have been looking for you ever since. If you ever get a chance to read this, I want you to know, you don't have to talk to me or friend me, but I will always love you no matter what happens. <3
Even though I wasn't suppose to have contact with him, I couldn't help but send him a friends request with a message saying:
I love and miss you too. <3
