Batman adopted joker's kid!(DC &OC)

I got impaled! It wasn't fun

Quinn spent the night at the mountain after going on a mission, she had brought sausage but they had to create a disguise so they gave him a collar that made it look like he had black fur. She collapsed on her bed with sausage on her back.

Gotham was eerily calm, Gotham was never calm! The sky was dark with sparkling stars splattered everywhere, the air was moist and dreadfully cold so much that there was ice forming everywhere and you could see your breath normally this would be ok but it was summer. In the sky a huge purple beam shot down and blew up the school, then another hit the bank. People screamed and ran from their homes, a huge structure could be seen through the clouds it was shaped like a hexagon and it slowly descended and landed on the Wayne tower.

Quinn woke up and grabbed sausage "it was just a dream! Right?" She asked, the dog tilted his head. She got up and changed into her black shorts and a white shirt and her mask. She made her way to the kitchen but her mind was still on her dream, she grabbed an apple
"Hey guys" she muttered as she saw the team but they looked equally shaken
"Did you have a dream of Gotham being attacked?" Robin asked and her head snapped up
"Yeah... I would say it was just a dream but after you know ...I'm not sure" she said and Robin nodded in agreement
"We all had the same dream... this really isn't good" Artemis muttered just then the justice league came through the zeta tubes
"Meeting!" Batman called and they all went to the briefing room sausage and wolf close behind, those two were fast friends.

"We all had the same dream and we are guessing you did too" superman said calmly the YJ sat down in their chairs and they all looked worried but they nodded
"But it's just a dream right?" Wally said but he knew the answer
"Nope" Phoenix said petting sausage "I had a dream that came true... that came true the next day, I don't know about this one though"
The heroes nodded and then Barry clapped his hands
"Now seen as we still haven't figured this out I just want to pause for a second and say
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX!" He cried and pulled out a board game
"No way trivial pursuits! I will destroy you on this!" She cried and Barry scoffed
"Ok my turn!" Victor/cyborg cried and pulled out a tool box
"Yes! It's the newest multipurpose screwdriver! Oh my god these are some of the best tools!" She squealed and hugged victor and Barry
"Yeah well my gift is awesome" Arthur said indignantly and he pulled out a book and Quinn flipped through the pages
"It's all Larry! Awww him on his first birthday and then his second!" She sighed and gave the Atlantean a hug Clark then handed her a cloak
"I know you like the Septimus Heap books and so I got you a cloak like they would have worn!" He said and Quinn grinned and placed it around her, it was dark red velvet material and it had a big hood
"Thanks! You know I'm never taking this off?" She said and Clark laughed and Diana came up and handed Quinn two knives "they're the best you can get, happy birthday kiddo" Quinn grinned and gave her a hug.
"And the best bow and arrow set in star city" Oscar said and Quinn loaded an arrow and hit a fly that had been buzzing around, and the arrow lodged its self in the wall behind
"Nice shot" Oscar complemented. And last but not least Martian Manhunter handed her a model of the human heart
"Noice!" She said grinning and disconnected the main artery.

"We need to figure this out" Batman said and the gift exchange stopped
"Yeah sorry batsy.... first we need to figure out who's sending these dreams" Phoenix said  collapsing in her seat playing with her new daggers everyone nodded in agreement
"Well is it magic or science?" Conner asked and Manhunter inhaled "well I think it was science... I can't find any traces of magic. I need to figure out where the signal is coming from, that will require someone to dream it"
Quinn exhaled and ran a hand through her hair.
"Ok do me and make it snappy I have to go home soon" she said and Manhunter nodded, she was taken the sofa and told she had to dream then wake up before they could enter her mind.

The JL and YJ sat on the other sofas or the floor, superman and black canary sat by Quinn ready for when she woke up.
"Ok I'm putting a movie on" KF declared and turned on 'Halloween' everyone watched the movie in silence when Quinn screamed in her sleep
"Wally turn down the volume! Canada could hear that scream" Artemis scolded
"I don't remember a scream being there" superboy frowned. The YJ turned to see the justice league fussing over Phoenix.
"Hey Phoenix, it's ok! calm down you're at the mountain" superman man said but she was still shaking and hyperventilating, her eyes were glazed over and she didn't seem to register anything, sausage was trying to snap her out of it but nothing worked.
"Phoenix!" Aquaman cried Robin rushed towards her and whispered
"Quinn wake up! You need to wake up" her eyes seemed to focus but she didn't stop shaking and her breathing was still rapid, she hugged the closest person to her which was Barry. He rocked her and tried to comfort her
"Hey! Shhhh it's ok you're fine. It was just a dream" he said and she cried into his shoulder. They stayed like that until she was asleep and cyborg grabbed her a pillow and blanket.
"What the hell was that?!" Artemis Exclaimed and green arrow shushed her before answering "She gets night terrors... tragic really" and the young justice sighed
"So do we... do we get j'onn to send her into the dream?" Flash asked
"She wanted to do it so... yeah" Batman said and Manhunter nodded placing his hands on her head and closed his eyes.
