Chapter 7-"Father and... Son?"

(Candy Palace, Candy Kingdom)

Somewhere in the candy palace, Peppermint Butler can be seen meditating inside of a pentagram in the middle of a room with lit candles surrounding the circle. Behind the butler was a window which was boarded up so no sunlight could get in, leaving only the candles to keep the room lit. He opens his eyes and gets up before walking over to a nearby table and picking up a small box which was on top.

Peppermint: "It is time my friend."

He said in a dark tone before walking back into the pentagram and sets the box down in the middle of the pentagram and opens it up, revealing some pieces of bones inside. Peppermint Butler then moves out of the circle and stands at edge before spreading his arms out. His eyes starts to glow yellow before his entire body starts to float off of the ground.

Peppermint: "Awaken Josiah! And become one with me!"

Peppermint Butler starts to float around the circle over and over as a black smoke starts to come out of the box before two black arms reaches out of the box. A head eventually emerges out of the box, revealing a black skinned demon with green eyes, sharp fangs, and horns sticking out of his head.

Josiah: "Who dares awaken me?!"

Peppermint: "I did, dumb dumb."

Josiah: "What the-- Peppermint Butler!? What the Glob's name do you want from me this time?!"

Peppermint: "I want you to become one with me Josiah."

Josiah: "I beg your pardon?"

Peppermint: "You heard me Josiah, I want you to become one with me!"

Josiah: "Well what makes you think I want to become one with you?!"

Peppermint: "(Sighs) Now, I'll tell you. We can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. The choice is yours."

Josiah: "Well, I don't think you and I will become one ever, Peps."

Peppermint: "Oh-ho, now I see you choosing the hard way."

Josiah: "Alright, now this is getting weird, screw this I'm out--"

But before Josiah could leave and go back to his home dimension, Peppermint reaches his hands out towards the demon and begins to absorb him into his candy body.

Josiah: "Oh shit! What the hell man?! Let me go!"

Peppermint: "Your soul is mine, Josiah!"

Peppermint said with his eyes glowing yellow and a big grin on his face. As the candy butler almost finishes draining Josiah's soul, he slowly starts to laugh while the demon grows weaker and weaker.

Josiah: "Aw.. shit.. I'm getting weak.."

Peppermint: "(Chuckles) Just close your eyes Josiah, and it'll all be over soon."

Peppermint laughs before suddenly, the door to the butler's room was kicked open, causing the lit candles to go out and shining some light inside the room.

Y/N: "Are ya winning, son?"

Peppermint: "What the?!"

Standing in the doorway was Y/N who had a smile on his face and the book of elementals in his hand. His hair was a bit of a mess while his clothes looked like they were put on in a rush. Once the butler saw him, his concentration was immediately broken, causing most of Josiah's soul in his body to go back into the demon's body.

Y/N: "Whoa, did I come in at the wrong time?"

Josiah: "What..? I'm still alive?! Yes!"

Peppermint: "Nooo! My concentration!"
