They were outside the airport, Jake stands in front of Sunoo. He smiled and offered him a hug, Sunoo whispers him thanks. "See you soon." Jake says after he broke off.

"You take care, hyung." Then, Sunoo walks away into the airport. Jake turns his heels to leave. Closing the door, he heaves a sigh. It finally came over him. The mission is over. Despite what he said about seeing Sunoo soon, it might even take them years before meeting once again.

It all happened in a flash. Since then, a month has already passed though Jake didn't want to register it yet. However, his environment seemed to be eager to make him realize he needs to make a move. Possibly to let go too.

Jake wished it was that easy. It wasn't. Every night he lay in bed, memories of Sunghoon starts to flood his mind; he tries his best to dodge it but it was too strong. In the end, he cried. All he could do is try and cope until he gets used to it; Jake knows he wouldn't.

Perhaps it was the desperation of being in Sunghoon's arms once again that is driving him to keep the thoughts in his mind. Even his friends tried helping him, to convince him that letting go was for the best. Jake dismissed all of it. Was it really a fault to keep the only memories he had with him?

As if on command, Jake drove to the cliff they once went to. He went out of the car and sat himself on the edge. The sunset is occurring in a few minutes, it was great timing. His phone rings on his hands, he opens to drop the call only to be met with Sunghoon's face on his wallpaper.

He laughs as he sets the phone aside. "You're so fucking unfair, Hoon." Jake says out loud. The orange hues of the sky illuminate on his face, the sun slowly hides itself between the mountains. Jake watches it go down, he nods when he understood the message.

A sunset is a perfect conclusion. The blossoming red and gold stretches far and wide like a great canvas was meant to be made. His eyes are steady at the horizon, his face aglow with the last remaining orange before twilight starts to beckon the stars.

As if the message wasn't enough, drops of rain trickles down from the sky. It was also the time Jake's tears start to fall down from his cheeks. He softly wipes the tears and smiles once more. "I get it." He speaks to the rain like he was speaking to Sunghoon.

Jake stays there until blackness envelope the once colorful sky. It still felt nice, the starts twinkling and like every night, the moon shone. The rain didn't stop, so Jake never shed a tear since. A cool breeze touched his face, suddenly he felt the comfort of Sunghoon's hands cupping his cheeks.

With his clothes soaked and his hair wet, Jake decides it was time to go home. He had heard Sunghoon's response and he will follow it. Closing the door, he leans his head on the head rest. Jake knew well it would be hard but sometimes letting go is easier than holding on.

The thing is, Jake loved Sunghoon so much that he would have gave his life instead. Maybe it is the reason why it was hard to let him go.

. . .

The puppy's barks was what greeted Jake as he went back inside his apartment. "Hey, Cosmo." He coos as he picks him up. Jake was shivering cold but he prefer to ignore it. From the time he spent alone he brought himself back to reality at last

There were still people who worried about him and tried their best to take care of him. Aside from Sunghoon, his friends were there when he was grieving and all the times he was having a hard time. It definitely is a good reason to let go.

Jake smiles with determination. "I'll live for you, Hoon."
