Chapter 2

•Chelsea's POV•
My alarm woke me up around 8:30 am to start getting ready for magcon today. Meagan and I decided that since the event is in New Hampshire, about 1 1/2 hours away, that we'd just spend the night in a hotel there.
I jumped out of bed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I was in there for about 15 minutes then turned the water off. I looked at my wrists. This is my second day clean, and I'm hoping that number will rise.
I walked into my room to get dressed then went back downstairs to dry my hair then do my makeup and brush my teeth.
It took about a hour to do that. I decided to wave my hair, and do a basic makeup look; eyeliner, mascara, concealer, and blush. I picked up my phone and called Meagan to tell her she can come over.
"Alright I'll be over in about 10 minutes." She said.

Almost exactly 10 minutes later Meagan came walking into my room.
"Are you ready for the best day of your life?" She yelled.
"Uh yeah!"
"So when should we leave, it's 10 o'clock right now and the meet and greet starts at 2:30." She said.
"We'll leave in a few minutes. If we're early we can just walk around or something." I said.
A few minutes later Meagan and I walked to my car to start our hour 1/2 ride.
The way there we basically jammed to Justin Bieber the entire time on repeat.
-1 hour 42 minutes later
We were finally here. We were finally going to meet magcon.
I pulled into a parking spot and looked at the time.
11:49. We still have a few hours.
"What should we do?" I asked.
"Want to go to lunch?"
"Yeah let's go to... Olive Garden?" I questioned.
"Yes!"
We both got out of the car, figuring walking to Olive Garden would be a little more fun than driving. Plus, it's only down the street anyway.
We walked through the doors and noticed how busy it was, and loud. It sounded like a crowd of girls were screaming, and surrounding this one table.
"Hey may I help you?" The girl at the desk asked.
"Uh yes, 2 please." I answered.
"Alright, right this way." The girl said.
Meagan and I followed her to our table, while trying to look at who all those girls were crowding.
There was no way to tell, there were way too many girls around them.
We sat down at the table and looked through the menu.
"I think I'm going to get just a salad. I'm not that hungry." I said.
"I think that's what I was going to get too." Meagan said putting down the menu.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, wait here." I said standing up.

I walked out of the bathroom noticing a boy walked out of the boys bathroom the same time I did, and I almost walked into him.
"Oh, sorry." I said.
I didn't really get to see his face because I felt bad for almost walking into him and just walked back to our table.

After lunch we just walked around and went to a few stores in the area. We are now heading back to meet the boys.
When we got to the building, we walked through the doors and got our passes and got in line. I looked over the heads of the girls in front of us to try and catch a peek of the boys. But they wouldn't stop moving.
"Chelsea, we have to stay calm when it's our turn. We don't want them to think we are crazy." Meagan said.
"Alright I'll try."
We were next.
I walked up to Nash, and just hugged him so tight.
"Hi beautiful, what's your name?" Nash asked.
"Chelsea." I said smiling and looking into his blue eyes.
"Well, Chelsea, are you the girl who almost ran into me earlier at Olive Garden?" He asked.
It was him who I almost ran into. That's why all the girls were freaking out. That's who was at Olive Garden.
"Oh my gosh that was you? I'm so sorry I didn-"
"Hey it's fine don't worry about it." He said grabbing my hand.
I looked down at my hand and just smilied even more.
"I really just want to hug you again." I accidentally said.
He had no hesitation. He immediately pulled me back in for a hug.
"You know, Chelsea. You are really pretty." He said while escaping the hug.
"Oh, I don't think I am. But thanks." I said pulling down my sleeve.
"You should." He said smiling.
I looked over at Meagan, she was talking to Shawn. I wonder how it's going.
"So do you want to take a picture?" He asked.
"Oh yeah." I said.
He put his arm around my waist and we both smiled.
Right before the picture was taken, he kissed my cheek.
Shock kind of ran through my entire body.
I turned around and hugged him again.
"Would you like a signed poster too?" He asked.
"Sure." He walked me over to the table and signed a magcon poster and handed it over to me while smiling.
"It was nice meeting you, Chelsea. Text me sometime." He said walking back to where he was standing.
"You too?" I questioned.
I was confused to why he said text me. I looked at the poster he signed, it had his name and underneath said:
"it was really great meeting you. I would love to get to know you better, text me :)" With his number next to it.
Excitement ran through my body, and I ran over to Meagan and Shawn.
"Hi Meagan, hi Shawn. Hate to interrupt but Meagan look at what Nash said." I said not even caring that Shawn Mendes was standing next to me.
she read the poster than looked back at me in shock.
"Oh my god Chelsea he likes you." She said.
"What are you guys talking about?" Shawn asked.
"Um." I didn't know how to explain it so I just showed him the poster.
"He never does that. He must definitely have a thing for you." Shawn said winking.
I giggled and decided I should probably introduce myself.
"I'm Chelsea by the way, and that's Meagan if you didn't already know." I said.
"I know." He said looking back at Meagan and smiling.
Meagan just looked down and giggled. I looked at them in confusion.
"But yeah nice to meet you Chelsea." Shawn said looking back at me.
"Is there something I missed or?" I asked.
"No I don't think so." Shawn answered.
"Um alright then. Did you guys already take a picture and everything."
"Yep." Meagan said.
"Okay well we should probably go now. There are a lot of fans waiting to meet you. It was great meeting you!" I said.
"You too. Bye guys." He said waving to us... well, Meagan.
I turned around to see if I could quickly catch Nash's attention. He was with a fan, but he somehow saw me and looked at me. I waved to him and he waved back.
I turned around to see Meagan was gone. I quickly looked around trying to find her.
Then I noticed she just went back to hug Shawn. I walked back over to them.
"Sorry, I forgot to hug you bye." Meagan said.
"Alright but for real now we have to go." I said.
They waved to each yet again and continued walking with me.
"Okay so what happened?" I asked in confusion.
"What?" Meagan asked looking up at me.
"What happened between you and Shawn?"
"Nothing. I was just another fan." She said.
"Okay we both know that's a lie." I smirked.
"You're right." She unlocked her phone and went to her contacts.
"He put his number in my phone. And I see you got Nash's number too?" She said nudging me.
"Yeah..." I said smiling at the ground.
"Awe Nashie has a crush." She said giggling.
"So does Shawnie." I said.
We just laughed until we got to a seat for magcon.
"I find it funny how we both went straight to our favorites and like ignored everyone else." Meagan said.
"Whatever."

Magcon started about an hour ago and there's almost another hour left.
"Alright guys. Shawn and I have something different we want to do. Just for this show. So during the meet and greets we both met these amazing girls. Chelsea and Meagan. Could you come to the stage please?" Nash said into the microphone.
Meagan and I looked at each other in shock.
We walked through the crowd and got to the gate where security let us through.
I walked up to Nash and Meagan walked up to Shawn.
Nash and Shawn put their arms around both of us while one of them talked.
"So we know that this is probably way to soon to ask but, would girls like to go on a double date like... tonight?" Nash asked.
We just looked at each and nodded our heads yes.
We looked back at the boys and said yes.
The girls in the crowd were screaming very loudly. I'm sure it's because they already hate us.
I hugged Nash while Meagan hugged Shawn, then we walked back to where we were.

The rest of magcon was kind of a blur. The only thing on my mind was Nash. Out of all the girls he has met, I was the special one to him.
Nash texted me telling us to meet them at Applebee's right after the show.
Meagan and I walked into the restaurant.
"How many?" The lady asked.
"Uh, 4." I said.
"Okay follow me." She said.
We followed her to a booth.
"Um, is it possible to have like a booth in the back corner?" Meagan asked.
"Why?" She asked.
"Um because the people coming can't really be out in the open." She said.
"Okay then?" The lady said giving us some kind of look.
She took us to the back.
I texted Nash and told him where we were sitting.
"He said they'll be here in about 5 minutes." I told Meagan.
We killed the time by looking through the menu.
"Found what you're going to eat?" I asked putting down my menu.
"Yeah I think so. I think I'm just going to have barbecue chicken. How about you?"
"Pasta." I replied.
"Hey guys." I looked up to see Nash.
"Oh hey! Uh Nash you can sit next to me and Shawn can sit next to Meagan?" I questioned.
They sat down.
"So how was magcon?" Nash asked us.
"Great." Meagan said smirking.
The boys looked through the menu.
"So tell us about yourselves." Shawn said.
"Well, I just turned 17 and Meagan's 16, turning 17 in July. We live in Boston. I don't know what else to say. We don't have very fun lives like you." I said making myself laugh.
"What do you guys do when you hangout?" Nash asked.
"Nothing really. We just talk or like go shopping or whatever." I said.
"Boston huh? We'll be sure to visit you guys a lot." Nash said.
"Really?" Meagan asked.
"Yeah, why not. Bostons a fun city." Shawn said.
"Not if you live there." I said.
Meagan nodded in agreement.
-1/2 hour later.
All of us finished our dinners and we just sitting in the booth talking.
"So are you guys driving back to Boston?" Nash asked.
"Nah, we're staying at a hotel for the night." I answered.
"Oh cool." Nash and Shawn said.
"Well, we should probably get going. It's getting late." Meagan said.
Everyone got out of the booth and hugged.
"It was good meeting you guys." Meagan and I said.
"You too." The boys said.
We walked out the door together.
"Chelsea, don't forget to text me later." Nash said.
"I won't." I smiled.
