We had four practices before the championship. Everybody has been under a lot of pressure, mostly Terry to the point were him and Tiny broke up, but Terry can't stay away from her for too long.
It's been stressful for me and Kendi also. A lot of arguing and crying but I honestly love her. I have never loved a girl like this in years.
The day of the championship, I didn't sleep last night I had Kendi sleep at the house so she could calm my nerves. We even had sex more than five times I would usually fall asleep after two rounds but my nerves were getting the best of me. This is the only chance I can get that trophy so I can prove to my dad that there is more to life than dying from the family business.
7:45 AM Monday, May 23rd.
All-Star Championships are today holy fuck. I and the boys were outside and have been running the whole campus since 5 in the morning I schedule this late last night as a pre-workout just to get our bodies warmed up.
This is the first time in years that the championship had been held at our college so we are playing in our gym and tickets are already sold out so, yes it'll be packed.
"Yo. Can we take a break?" One of my teammates asked.
"Yeah, you're going to kill us before the game." Another said.
"Like you said the game. Guys this is our last chance to make a name for ourselves." I said stopping with them
"Renzo, come on let's stop we have to get ready anyway," Terry said
"Where y'all two going?" Ant says
As we walked away from the others as Terry basically forced our workout to end.
"We're going on a double date but in the morning-so a double morning date. You dig what I'm tryna say?" Terry says trying to explain to Ant
"Yeah I get it," Ant says chuckling
"I'm surprised y'all both still in relationships with all those arguments and you and Tiny breaking up." He said
We ran all the way to the house to the campus I had all my teammates meet me at my house early in the morning so as I think about it walking all the way home with cramps is not the best way to go.
"We got back together so she called me a week ago yelling my head off I was gonna hang up but she said she the 'L' word and I couldn't just leave her like that she's my girl mane," Terry said as we crossed the street
And fuck my cramp is killing me like somebody really stabbed me in my side.
"Damn! Forreal did you say it back." Ant asked laughing while nudging Terry
"Well yeah. I love that girl she gonna have my kids later in our lives." Terry said smiling
