Chapter 4

"That was an amazing party!" Harry exclaims. He shuts the door after one of the guests leaves and I slouch in my chair eating, as usual.

"Of course you would think that." I roll my eyes. All night Harry had been talking with Beth and the other guys while I sat on my phone playing Candy Crush.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Harry comes up behind me and places a kiss on my cheek but I shrugged him off, scowling at him.

"I hope you had a great time at my party..."

He moves in front of me on both knees, within eye level now. His dimples popped through his cheeks as his eyes scanned my frowning face. Harry let a chuckle escaped from his lips and placed his hands on mine.

"Thank you, for everything. I know I didn't talk to you much but I want you to know that I appreciate everything you do for me...us."

"I know that. But, it really made me mad that you talked to Beth  the whole time." I clicked my phone off and sighed while looking at him. His smile made me want to both slap him and kiss him at the same time.

"Babe, do you think I wanted to talk to her? I couldn't give two shits on how her nail broke while putting toys on shelves." We both chuckled. His hands covered my cheeks and he stared deeply into my eyes.

"You're perfect. How was I so lucky to have met you?" I whispered, only loud enough for us to hear.

"We met on weird circumstances but I'm lucky I had the courage to finally confess my love to you."

Early the next morning, I wake up with Harry's arm draped over my waist in a protective manner, his breath on my neck and his light snores in my ear. I could have stayed like this forever but I had to get up. Today, I was going to search for a job so I quickly took a shower and grabbed my laptop to get started in the living room. I was looking for something part-time so it wouldn't interfere with school but also would bring in a decent amount of money.

After an hour of searching, Harry finally woke up and made us brunch; grilled cheese and tomato soup. Finally, I found a job that was right for me. It was at a library 10 minutes away. I filled in my application and submitted it.

"Don't stress about getting a job, we have plenty of money." Harry yelled at me from the bedroom. We were getting financial help from his parents but it would be right to earn the money myself to not feel guilty.

"I don't want to have to rely on your parents to pay for what we need. Wouldn't it make you feel better to earn it yourself?" I walked into the room but didn't see him anywhere. The bathroom light was on with the door slightly cracked so I entered. He was standing at the mirror shirtless poking at his belly.

"What would make me feel better is going to the gym. I think I'm starting to gain weight." He pouted and pinched the little fat he had.

"Oh shut up, you look great. I'd say that you look better than ever." I smile and hug him from behind. He doesn't buy this as he looks at his arms next.

"I need to build some muscles, don't want you leaving me for some buff man." He jokes.

"Trust me, I'd rather be with a weak man than some Arnold Schwarzenegger."

Very short and uneventful chapter but I really don't know where this book's going so give me some time to see.
