AMES POV I woke up to my husband looking at me. When he noticed I was awake he gave me his leftovers and pointed to the stuffed animal he bought me. I told him Ioved it. He smiled and kissed me then held my hand in his. It was a few days before I could be released from the hospital. When the day came I was able to go home Jason left and went to go get the truck. He showed up 15 minutes after I signed the discharge papers. He picked me up and my belongings and carried me to the truck. He gently sat me down on the passager side then put my stuff behind the seat then we drove us home. When we got home he carried me inside and set me on the couch while he went back out to the truck and got my stuff and put it in our bedroom. Then he asked if I was hungry? I said yes,he fixed us something to eat then he cuddled me on the couch. We were watching wrong turn 2. After the movie we took a bath together. He pulled me back towards himself and rested his head on my shoulder while we soaked in the hot water. After our bath I sat down on the couch again and started to read a book. Jason looked over my shoulder wondering what I was reading so I started to read it out loud. It was called the odd sisters.

After I read a few chapters I yawned because I was tired. Jason followed me to our bedroom and laid down with me In our bed. He held me close while I drifted off to a dreamless world.
