the arcade! 🕹

I woke up at around like 11am and just got up got some clothes out of my bag and walked to the restroom. I was honestly still tired but I didn't feel like going back to sleep. I brushed my teeth and put some clothes on. I put on my  tan cargo pants with a black iron maiden t-shirt. I then brushed through my hair which made it kinda frizz so I just put water and a little bit of frizz taming cream to fix it (I have curly hair so I don't know if straight hair does the same plus i think y/n would have curly hair like dustin😭)

Anyways back to the story!!

I heard a knock at the door and I just asked "who is it?" "It's Dustin are you finished? I'm going to the Arcade with a couple friends if you wanna come?" I opened the door and said "sure let me just put on my shoes" "okay I'll wait for you outside" he responded back. I went back to my room put on some perfume/deodorant and then some of my jewelry. I then grabbed my shoes and rushed out. Dustin said i can have his old bike from now on so me and him could go places together. Then I told our mom "we are going out to the arcade with some of dustin's friends! byee mom!!" She then said "okay bye but don't be back late!" While I ran outside to go with Dustin. He was standing there with 2 bikes next to him he told me the dark purple one was mine. Even though I insisted I can drive but he says this way is better. He got on his bike and we started heading off to the arcade I followed next to him since I don't know my way around town much. I lowkey forgot everything. So while we were biking around he was showing me around kinda. He then looked over at me and said "nice shirt I didn't know you were into that type of stuff" he said. "yeah I like a couple metal bands. i'm still trying to listen to more of it though" I said back. "me too, some of the gang is into it and i've been wanting to get into it too. seems cool" he said. "i can probably help you with that" i said.

We then both turned ahead and kept pedaling. We then made it to the Arcade and put our bikes on the bike rack and quickly went inside. I followed Dustin through the Arcade till he stopped in front of me which caused me to bump into him by accident. "Sorry" I mumbled. Then I looked up to see a couple of kids there. One was tall and had nice cheekbones. One that had like wavy short brown hair that was also somewhat tall. Another was also tall and had long curly hair.
We just stood there for a second until Dustin started talking "sorry for being late" Dustin said with silence followed behind it. "who tf is that?" the boy with nice cheekbones. "this is my infamous older sister mike" he then points at me. I awkwardly look at them all and choose to smile nervously. "you have a sister?!?" mike and the brown hair boy said at the same time. "yeahh long story short she was basically kidnapped as a kid and now she's back with me" he said with a straight face. They all stare at dustin in confusion. Dustin then says "are we here to play or are we here to chit chat". They all end up scattering to play games expect one of them. The one with curly hair. He looks at me for a bit and squints, he then comes up to me and says "I'm Eddie, it's nice to meet you dustin's sister"  he says while shaking my hand. "actually my name is y/n and it's nice to meet you too Eddie" i said while laughing a bit. He also laughs with me.

"So you're actually Henderson's sister?" He asks. "Yeah I am" "hmm well you guys look nothing alike except for maybe the curly hair and height" he says after me. I lean up against the Arcade machine that's next to me and I say "well Dustin looks more like our mom and I look more like my dad " i replied. "ah that makes more sense" he said "how come I didn't meet you before then?" He asked. "Well it's like what Dustin said but minus the kidnapping part kinda.. I was living with my dad before but then I came back with my mom after my pops passed" I answered him. "I'm sorry for your loss" he quickly said. "it's okay it wasn't your fault" i said back to him.

A bit of awkward silence passed until he told me to follow him and he took me to like the back of the Arcade where there was this room that had a couple pornography tapes that were for sell. i'm guessing it's for older teens to buy or something. It was quieter and weren't bothered by the kids that were yelling because they couldn't beat the game. We just walked around the room while looking at the names i tapes and continued talking. "Sooo what year are you in? Or are you out of school already?" i asked him. "Pfft I wish I was out of school. I'm a senior but I technically failed twice soo" he said "wait you failed twice so you're like what 19 or 20?" I said with a kinda shocked concernedish reaction. He turned his head to me more and said "hey, it's not my fault Ms.Odennal's class is so hardd" he whined with a little laugh at the end. I just started slightly laughing with him. Then after a couple seconds it was just silent. I think Dustin was playing "Dragons lair" with the 2 boys next to him and I think he lost because a couple seconds later I just heard Dustin yell "YOU'VE GOT TO BE SHITTING ME" I started bursting out laughing and I think Eddie e
heard it too because he did the same. We just kept on laughing. After that was over I turned to Eddie and asked "what are those other two boys names with dustin? well except mike i got his name earlier" i asked him. "Oh the boy with the brown hair is Gareth and the one with Black is Mike" He answered. "I'll be sure to remember that then" I smiled as I turned back over to the shelf. I could see Eddie in the corner of my eye and he was looking at my shirt. I turn to him with a confused look on my face. "Oh. Sorry I was just looking at your shirt. I noticed it when you walked in with Dustin" "Ohh do you listen to them?" i asked him. "Yeah I do I fr love music like that if you couldn't tell already" he said in a sarcastic but also joking tone. I just smiled at him and looked back at shelf. A minute passed by with silence until Eddie broke it "Do you wanna go play some of the games? or buy one of these tapes?" Eddie then asked while grinning at me "hell yeah i wanna buy "naughty maid 2"" i said while reading off one of the tape names. "Can't blame you. Probably the best one here" he joked back.

After a couple seconds he then said "cmon let's go play some games before leaving".
while holding his hand out and a smile on his face. I grabbed his hand and followed behind him. (NO BUT FR IMAGINE HIM IN LIKE THAT ONE SCENE WHERE ERICA WAS LUCAS'S SUB AND HE SMILED AND HELD HIS HAND OUT BUT LIKE IN THIS SITUATION OMG..)

We played a bunch of different games and I even went up against Dustin in Dig dug but lost IMMEDIATELY. "It was pretty good for your first time, Dustin is just obsessed with this game that's why this is the only game he can win" Gareth said which made me laugh and Dustin telling Gareth to shut the fuck up which caused them to start arguing and I just stood there watching them and finding it funny as hell.

Eddie's pov:

"Hey dude what time is it?" Mike asked me while Gareth and Dustin argue in the background. "Uhh it's about 1:30 ish" I replied while looking at my watch. "We should go watch a movie at my house or something i'm getting kinda bored" Mike asked Eddie. "Only if we go get snacks first" I bargained "fine" Mike grumbled. "good because even if you said no I would still make you come with us to get some" I said with a smile. Mike just looked at me and just shaked his head back and forth. I turn to Gareth, Dustin, and y/n. Dustin and Gareth still argued while y/n was just laughing at their stupidity. "alright guys SHUT UP and let's go!" I said loudly so Dustin and Gareth would shut up. (Just imagine him saying that but in the same tone when he's tired of the guys arguing about postponing and just yells at them 😭)

y/n's pov:

"alright guys SHUT UP and let's go!" Eddie yelled so Dustin and Gareth would finally shut up. "Go where?" Gareth asked. "We are going to Wheeler's house to watch a movie or something but first we are gonna get some snacks from the shop thats on the way" Eddie responded. We all agreed and got our stuff so we could put it in Eddie's van and go.
