I woke up in a dark room. It smelled of charcoal and dust. Everything was gray. Not a spot of color crossed the barren walls. It was the most depressing scenery I had ever been in.
"Get up."
"What?"
"You, right there, up now."
"For what? Last time I checked you don't own me."
"Young lady, get your ass up right now! I will not say it again! You understand?"
I jumped up. For some reason my body followed his command. I think it was the fact that he scared the shit out if me, but it's all good.
"Can you tell me exactly why I'm here?"
"Well apparently, your name is Aubrey sun Meyers. You're 16 years old, and you have this rare gene that gives you the ability to be an indestructible solidier, who the secret services cannot wait to get there hands on."
"Wait! What the heck secret services? Indistructable? I don't see how this is even possible."
"You know, honestly I do not give a flyin fuck. I'm just doing this for money."
"Rude asses."
"Excuse you, what was that?"
"Nothin."
I followed the man down the dark hall. I seen a faint blue light at the end. It gave me this weird feeling in my stomach.
"In there."
"The room?"
"Yaaahhh.... Are you dumb?"
"No, I'm not. Thank you very much."
He stared into my eyes and grabbed my right shoulder. He threw my body onto the ground and kicked me forward.
"In the cage."
"I'm not an animal."
"But you are a big weapon so in the cage."
"I don't know who you think you are but there is no way I am climbing inside that cage."
He went to grab me and I right hooked him in the face. I jumped up into the air and watched my foot skid across the side of his face.
I forgot I was wearing kleats.And damn there was blood on em.
