Mutants. Not much was known about this subspecies of humans. Humans born with a mutated gene that could be random or passed down from a family member. Most mutants were random, the product of two normal humans. Most often than not, they were cast out of their homes, most seized by the government, for testing. The government wanted to see what made then have the X Gene, though, no answer was ever discovered.
