My eyes could barely open, the lights were so bright. I went to sit up. I couldn't? Panic began to set in. I forced my eyes open and let them painfully adjust. I was strapped to a table in a square cement room. Where was I??

I tried to get up, no use. Powers didn't work.... I fought for my freedom and failed. Out of breath, I looked down. What was I wearing....? They changed my clothes?!? I shivered with disgust.

I saw movement in my peripheral vision. I struggled to move my head to look, I was so stiff. My neck cracked. There was a wall of glass, on the other side I could see glasses and the Haitian man who was like me. Glasses glanced over noticing I was awake, he finished talking to the Haitian, and waked into the cell.

"Good morning," he started.

"Morning?" I said waiting for him to get to the point while questioning the time of day.

"We were searching for the most dangerous man in the world. But, instead we found you. Why is that?" he asked calmly. I didn't speak.

"Where's Sylar!" He yelled, making me jump a bit, but by this point I seriously didn't know where he was.

"Who are you?" I asked changing the subject. He took a deep breath.

"Yes, sorry. I'm Mr Bennet" he said apologetically.

"Okay, Bennet. Where am I, if I'm allowed to know?" I said trying to be comfortable in my restraints.

"You're in the highest level of security cell at the moment. Within 'The Company'," he said. He walked closer and released me from the bed's restraints. I sat up and stretched.

"Okay Skylar, information for information. Where were you and Sylar headed? What did he want? Where is he?" He bombarded me with questions I didn't know, or want to answer.

"The truth will come out one way or another," he started walking away.

"I really was kidnapped," I said

"But why?" He asked. I sighed.

"I don't know. He was just gonna kill me but something stopped him... I don't know why my--- I mean why he didn't," I lied almost giving the word 'father' to them. But I thought the word, and if I thought it the Haitian heard it! Bennet nodded as he believed me and continued walking away.

"Are you gonna let me go?" He turned to look back at me.

"We'll see" he said as he opened the metal door and walked away.

Now standing, I lowered myself down to the ground and sat. My mind was overflowing with thoughts about everything! Like school and the tests I would miss, friends, and I thought of the one I had a crush on. The one I had for a year and a half, I also thought about family. My family, my new found father. But these were dangerous thoughts. Those ones could keep me here forever! The ones that kept me away from him.

I tried to hate Sylar but I would catch him looking at me. I could hear his thoughts. He wanted to step up, he wanted me to accept him, and it was really sad. But other times he was emotionless and scary. A war going on in his head and sometimes you could tell that drove him crazy.

I felt my body getting colder, these cement floors and walls... They seemed to be caving in on me. They surrounded me, there was no way out.

~~Two Hours Later~~

Bennet came through the door and stood upfront of me. He opened up a tan file and began reading it.

"Skylar Gray, born August twenty third. Year 2000. Mother deceased and father Gabriel Gray," he said now looking up. Fear struck my eyes, had I been found out! "Gabriel Gray, AKA Sylar," he added.

"Does it matter?!" I yelled.

"Yes it matters, it all matters!" He yelled back.

"Why?" I said quieter, more broken.

"Because you could be the only one to bring him out of hiding" he replied.

"Is that what 'The Company' does Bennet?! kidnapping, kidnapped children and using them as what?... Leverage?" I shouted.

"No!...Not at first..." he said disappointed.

"Then what's it's purpose, why does it exist" I asked.

"Bag and tag," he said to himself and left again leaving me wondering, will Sylar come for me? Will my father come for me?
