Chapter five: phase one

"Do you guys really think that spears will defend themselves?" You say with concern as you watch Lucas and Erica wrap a blade around a long stick "it's better than nothing" you nod and finish up on your weapon. "How's it going over there?" Eddie says with a wide smile, his hair is damp and greasy. He definitely could use a shower after this...after this.
"I only went to your basketball games because mom basically forced me" Erica rolls her eyes while redoing Lucas's floppy spear "bullshit they can't tell you to do shit" you intervene "Erica it's your life your choice you shouldn't let them force you you should be able to decide where you want to go." Erica pauses knowing what you said was quite true "whatever, Lucas even though you are still my-" the words trail off as you walk over to Nancy and Max "all set up?" Nancy says brushing off dust from where she sawed her gun, you nod "yep I'm all set, im going to check on the others" you wave as you walk over to Steve and Robin, "hey guys" "oh hey y/n!" Steve says with an ounce of shock "dingus don't move!" Robin exclaims trying to pour kerosene into the bottle Steve's holding "jeez sorry, sorry" you laugh and turn to see Eddie and Dustin play fighting, never change Dustin Henderson, you remember that line, that was your first suspicion that he was going to die.

You look up at the portal, you can almost see Eddie cutting the rope and Dustin screaming. "Y/N? You aren't being Vecna'd right?" Eddie says waving a hand in front of your face "huh? Oh no I'm ok" you shake your head getting rid of the vision "ok good"
Steve climbs up the rope and looks up(down??) before landing on his feet, he shrugs smiling confidently. "What did he want us to applaud?" Robin whispers, Steve brings out a musty mattress and Nancy is the second to go through, then her weapons.

You all walk out of the trailer and Steve turns around "if anything and I mean anything goes wrong you turn the other way understand? Don't do any of that hero shit." It's time... "look at us, we are no hero's" you turn your head away. You are a hero Eddie. Steve, Nancy, and Robin leave and you begin setting up the trailer for battle. You pull apart the fence and set up a patio screen around the door, you block the windows.... "We are finished now we just need to get the guitar!" Dustin celebrates "wait!" You scream "Eddie is there any grates they can get through?" Eddie thinks and punches you lightly "genius we would've died without you thank you!" You laugh subtly and start patching the grates. perfect. You walk into Eddie's room and smile at the guitar "it's like it was made for an alternate dimension" you laugh as Eddie kisses his guitar "are you ready for the most metal show ever?" He says swinging the guitar behind his back "is that a rhetorical question?"
Now on the roof your heart starts racing, holy shit I might need to fight, Dustin plugs in the cord and you stand guard as Eddie starts strumming the most extraordinary notes into your ears, you loosen up and headbang with Dustin. SCREECH!! "They are coming!!" You scream "T-minus thirty seconds!" Dustin yells to Eddie who nods and plays more hardcore than ever. "T-minus twenty seconds!" "Ten seconds!" "NOW!!" You yell and jump off the trailer and run into the screening, "go go go!" You scream as Eddie and Dustin run through, you shut the door just in time as a swarm of bats appear. You run through the door and start climbing the rope.
      "What are you doing we are safe in here?" Dustin says back to back with Eddie as screeching demobats swarm the trailer "I need to save Max, no matter what run if you see danger you hear me?" You say not expecting an answer, you land on your back and run out of the trailer towards the Creel's house.

You arrive just when Jason and his gang do, you run towards the door your lungs piercing in need of oxygen, you make it in before Jason and put a table in front of the door before taking off your shoes and gently but swiftly move up the stairs to the attic. Frantically you wave your arms in the air towards Lucas and he waves back with a flashlight in hand, you make a gesture with your hands for a pen and paper he hands you one and you write Jason and his crew are here put music on max but don't start k? Not the best English but you were trying to write fast so it didn't matter.

Lucas did just what you ask before a crash is heard from downstairs you look at Lucas and nod at each other, he scurried downstairs as you close your eyes and begin focusing. If Vecna can do it so can I. You think as everything around you slowly turns to a black void and then to a memory, a Max memory.
   "God where is she?" You say with an impatient tone, you can't find Eleven or Max. Just as you say that you see a disco stand slowly appear on a bridge "you" you jump as Eleven makes an appearance directly behind you. "God you scared me El! We need to go this way I'm on your side and Max is not safe, Vecna can't take two at once right?" Eleven looks quite confused and shocked as she thought you were apart of the memory "oh right look" lifting up your sleeve you bring Elevens wrist to yours "see? Sisters" you smile and Eleven smiles widely "sister."
    "Now come on we haven't much time!" You grab Elevens arm and run towards the storm "Is Will with you?" You say breathlessly and Eleven responds with a nod "great he's important" "Will, important?" "Yes very he can sense Vecna especially when he's in Hawkins he's like our detecter, our spy" You and Eleven are just about to reach the storm "Papa is dead" Eleven blurts out, you smile "I know he is, I will explain everything after we save Max ok?"
