Summer Loving || IM5

Chapter 7|| "In 3 days."

Hailey's POV:

"Guys," Dana said.

They all looked at him in a laughing fit by a joke Luke made. Which made me feel even worse.

"I won't be here for the summer," Dana mumbled. Everyone stopped laughing and gave Dana their full attention.

"Why?" Amber asked.

"IM5 is going on tour for the summer," he looked sad and so did everyone else which only made me want to cry.

"Oh well congratulations," Paisley said with a fake smile.

"There's more," he said.

"What?" Ryan asked.

"I'm going with him," I mumbled feeling a lump in my throat.

I know I was being a baby but I couldn't help it. I couldn't leave my best friends but then that would mean not being able to see Dana. And that's something I couldn't do. No I didn't have a crush on Dana but he was my best friend since I was a baby. I haven't seen him for most of the school year. If I didn't stay with him this summer I wouldn't see him for most if the year.

Ryan took his arms off my waist.

"Why?" Ryan asked.

"Our parents set it up so we didn't spend the summer without each other."

"Oh," He said.

"When were on the tour I think we're coming back cause they have a concert here so we'll be able to see you guys."

Ryan realized that I was sad so he put his arms back around my waist and kissed my cheek.

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"When are you guys leaving? " Paisley asked.

"In 3 days," I answered.

"When were you gonna tell us?" Luke asked very annoyed.

"I don't know," I said in the same tone of voice.

"Were you ever gonna tell us?" he asked another annoying question.

"Well we weren't just gonna leave," Dana said also annoyed at Luke's tone.

"We have two days left together," I said trying to change the subject.

"Yea we should spend these last two days together," Amber said.

"It's a deal," Dana said with a cheesy smile.

We all laughed including Luke who had changed his mood.

We then heard a snore and we all looked at Paisley snoring away in her sleeping bag and we all laughed.

"Is now a good time to take a selfie?" Amber asked taking out her iPhone.

"Yup." said Dana.

We all gathered around a sleeping Paisley and made a tired face.

We all laughed after we saw the picture.

"I'm getting tired," Dana said getting back in my bed.

"Same," Luke and Amber agreed. Everyone besides Ryan and I drifted to sleep.

Me and Ryan cuddled close together.

"What are we going to do?" I asked Ryan.

"I don't know yet but I'm not gonna lose you for the whole summer," he sighed. "I guess we'll just figure it out tomorrow."

"I guess," I yawned "good night."

"Goodnight Hailey" Ryan said and then kissed my forehead.

With that I fell fast asleep.
