Ah, yes. The big day. I can tell it's a special day, because Willy is acting like a robot that hasn't been oiled in a while. I've been helping him prepare for his big debut this morning, even helping him make sure his office was straightened up. Still, no matter what I ask: "Are you nervous? Are you ready? You remembered the cue cards, right?" I'm always answered with either a stiff "No", or a stiff "Yes", or a jerky nod.

I pluck a small tuft of lint off of Willy's coat. "Willy, I can't read your mind," I say. "You're going to have to say more than just 'yes' and 'no.'" Willy sighs. "I know, it's just..." he hesitates. I grin. "Getting cold feet, huh?" Willy frowns at me. "No, I'm not scared. I'm just not a big kid person."

He sighs and turns back in front of the full-length mirror he's standing in front of. I put a hand on his shoulder. "I understand," I say empathetically. "I don't care for kids either. But remember, you've got your cue cards and if you're ever in doubt, pull a cue card out!" Willy arches an eyebrow.

"Really?"

I shrug. "Hey, at least it's not as bad as your little puppet show that you insisted on having."

"Speaking of which," Willy glances up at the large clock on the wall. "It's 10 o'clock already." He sighs and glances at me. "Here we go," he says. He walks over to his desk and presses a red button on his intercom. "Please...enter," he says ominously. I roll my eyes as I exit the room.

Laying it on a little thick, ain't ya?

As I make my way to the back door, so I can sneak and peek in the front without anyone seeing me, Willy's voice echoes through the intercom. "Welcome to my humble factory," he says in the same ominous tone. I hear the eerie keys of an organ echo through the hallways. I groan.

Oh, Willy, honestly. "And who am I? Well..." Willy's voice drops off, so I'm guessing that the puppet show has started. Yes! The back door of the factory.

I open the door then sneak around to the front of the factory, hiding with my back pressed against a wall. The puppet show is already in full swing when I get to the front, where I can see everyone but they can't see me.

I see the Gum Girl with her mother standing at the front, looking utterly confused as to what to do about the puppet show. I notice that the Amazing Chocolate Boy and his mother have huge smiles and seem to be enjoying the song.

Miss Priss and her father have their noses turned up in disgust and T.V. Kid just looks bored. There is a familiar looking older guy standing with a young boy. He looks like he doesn't know whether to laugh or groan. In my opinion, this song is pretty catchy.

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, he's the one that you're about to meet

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, he's a genius who just can't be beat

A magician and a chocolate whiz, the best darn guy who ever lived

Willy Wonka, here he is!

I groan as I notice that the "throne" Willy was supposed to be sitting on is empty. Leave it to Willy to not be sitting there. However, as the puppets burst into flames, I think that maybe Willy made a wise decision to move away from the stage, otherwise he would've ended up like my grandad's barbecue ribs: smoked. I hear someone giggling like a maniac, then I notice Willy clapping his hands next to Miss Priss's dad.
