Two lovers unwound

I see about 7 sticky notes from Fumiko and Lucoa already.

I grab one but at the same time Umiko grabs for it. Her stupid hand touches mine. Aya and Aoi watch.

We lock eyes. I give her a death stare and rip it from her hand. "One strawberry custard and double burger"

I go over and use the ice cream machine. I see Umiko making a different order, she just slaps a patty into a burger in the most sloppy way. Pathetic.

I go next to her and grab two buns which causes me to reach over her.

Just when I grab the second bun, we BOTH tumble to the ground. Of course I fall on top of her which makes things so fucking stupid.

"WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING!" I yell. "Y/n, stop" she yells to me. Aoi covers her mouth.

My face turns into an appalled expression. We both stand up. "Stop what?" I ask. "This" she says gesturing everything. "Oh no you did NOT, I have EVERY single right-
"I KNOW YOU DO! Just leave things in the past.." she says.

I shake my head. "How could I ever leave those things in the past?" I say. Umiko stays silent.

"You need to just calm down and work with me-
"Wowowowait- I'm not working with you, I'm doing my job" I say. "And I suggest you back off"

I turn around and continue working. Umiko sighs. Aoi and Aya begin whispering.

Just as it ends, Lucoa walks in the kitchen. "Y/n, just work with me at the front desk today pleeeeaaase?" She says.

I look at Umiko. "I'd love to" I say.

Me and Lucoa hold hands and walk away. Lucoa side eyes Umiko in a sadistic way.

I go to the front desk and see Fumiko and Risa. Something was so off between them now. There was a short line of people.

"H-hi what can I do for you?" Risa asks. The line was split into 3 lines now since 3 people worked at the front desk.

We begin taking orders. I can sense Fumiko staring at Risa a lot. After the line stopped Fumiko walked up to her.

"Risa?" She says. "Ya hi what is it?" Risa turns around fast. "Can I.. talk to you?" Fumiko asks. Risa starts to get shaky. "We have um lots of customers it's really not the time yknow?" Risa says. Fumiko looks confused, Risa never turns her down over customers.

"It's.. important" Fumiko says. "And and I don't have time, so just go tell someone else if it's that important" Risa says. She tries to hide her face under her hat.

Fumiko goes back to her spot in shock.
Risa bites her nails. Something's up.

"Risa?" I say. "What now" she asks. I grab her arm and pull her into the kitchen as quick as possible. Fumiko watches.

"Girl what is wrong with you" I say. "Stop pretending like nothing is up, because something definitely is"

She stays silent. "There's no point in even talking to Fumi anymore" Risa mutters. "What the hell? She wanted to talk to you so why didn't you say yes" I say.

"BECAUSE THERES NO POINT" Risa says. She tries to walk away but I grab her arm again. "Just let it go" she says just inches away from Fumiko. Risa rips her hat off and throws it into the wall.

"I'm..I'm gonna get a drink of water" Risa says walking to the exit of the restaurant. I could hear pure tears in her voice.

"Risa, we have water here-
She left.

Mei stormed back into the restaurant (she was on delivery duty) "what did you guys do?" She says. She looks at Fumiko. "What the hell are you looking at me for?!" She asks.
