Hi, I'm Riley Matthews. I have brown hair and love my family. My dad is Cory Matthews, and teaches at John Quincy Adams Middle School. My mom is Tapanga Matthews, and she is a lawyer. My brother is Auggie Matthews and is an amazing brother. I have the best family anyone could possibly ask for. I also love my friends. There is Lucas Freyer, who is as perfect as perfect can be. Actually, he is better than perfect. He just moved here from Texas. There is Farkle, whose full name is Farkle Mincus. He has had a crush on me and Maya since we met him. He is super smart, but is a little weird. Finally, there is Maya. Maya is my best friend. We have friendship rings. We do everything together. She may be a bit of a bad influence, but she is the best bad influence you will ever meet. She is amazing. I will always love her. "Awwwwwwwwww," Maya said lovingly as she gave Riley a hug. "I love you too." Thank you Maya, but please don't interrupt.
Anyway, today is September 19, and so far I am having a fantastic day. I'm about to have history. We are going to talk about our family trees. We are going to do a "living history" project. My great grandmother, Rosie McGee, is who I am doing it on. I can't wait to get started! This is going to be fun. I'm going to start researching Rosie right now!
