Hannah's POV: after the Regulators went to tend Mr Tunstall's cattle Tori Beck Kelsey and Carmen decided to get ready for dinner and everything Mr Tunstall had let us have the option of stay in house or staying in the bunkhouse with the Regulators some of us decided to stay in the house and some of us decided to stay in the bunkhouse I was one of the ones that decided to stay in the bunkhouse Kelsey and Tori joined me Beck and Carmen decided to stay in the house we were all hanging out in Beck's bedroom until dinner
I can't believe we're here we're basically in the Young Guns movie you guys Kelsey said excitedly sitting in a chair
We know Kelsey geez you don't need to remind us Carmen said rolling her eyes
Come on guys this should be fun think of it as an adventure Tori stated
I'll agree with that I added
I guess but what about our family and friends guys we can't just leave them Beck said
Beck was always the voice of reason though it always drove us crazy even though she always met well and everything we talked for awhile trying to figure out how we're going to make it back home and since Beck and I are kind of in charge of the group Tori Kelsey and Carmen would looked to us for guidance but I knew that we would make it through this
But will we ever make it back home though? Kelsey asked
We will we will make it don't worry I replied reassuring her
Alright then Kelsey said
I smiled softly and hugged Kelsey then we continued to talk until we heard a knock on the bedroom door we looked over as the bedroom door opened and we saw Mr Tunstall
Dinner is ready ladies Mr Tunstall said
We will be right there Mr Tunstall I said
Very well Mr Tunstall replied
After Mr Tunstall went downstairs we got ready for dinner then walked downstairs and sat at the dinner table I sat down between Chavez and Billy Kelsey Tori and Beck were sitting between Billy Doc and Richard and Carmen sat between Charle and Chavez and Mr Tunstall sat on the other end of the table
Well now look at those appetites William and ladies have some more Mr Tunstall said
Have you ever beef before? Richard asked
Yeah some of us have in Montana I answered for Beck Tori Kelsey and Carmen
Yeah I worked out at the Fort Sumner way Pete Maxwell's place did the chow line but I got away with cattle Billy added
As Billy said we heard Steve chuckling I shook my head I looked over and saw Kelsey glaring at him and Beck just rolled her eyes and shook her head just like I did Tori and Doc just continued to eat while looking at all of us awkwardly and Carmen didn't say anything it as if nothing happened in regards to her
What is so jolly funny master Stephen? That's not proper table manners Mr Tunstall replied looking at Steve sternly
The way Mr Tunstall looked at Steve reminded me of when my father would look at me that way I was always the straight laced one of my family so when I saw look I got a little nervous for a moment but I continued to eat dinner trying to hide how I was feeling
He got away with hogs Charlie joked laughing and making pig noises
Congratulations Charles you and Stephen will be doing the dirty cockney alone this evening Mr Tunstall said
