(Y/n, almost 1 years old POV)
One day, I was just playing with my toys in the house when mom and dad started fighting. Mom me to sleep with her soothing voice while they still fought. I had no clue what was going on, but my gut told me something not good. I closed my eyes and fell asleep not knowing it'd be my last time seeing my real parents.
I woke up in a white stained kimono in a box with a blanket placed next to me on a sidewalk. It was a cold night so I grabbed the blanket and wrapped myself in it. Though I had the blanket, i was shivering underneath. Felt like I was gonna freeze to death.. I curled in a ball with the blanket wrapped around me & laid down slowly in the small box, I shivered for hours on end until morning came. The bright sun started to come over the horizon and daylight felt good on my cold, numb skin. I unraveled the blanket and bathed on the sidewalk in the sun. I could start to feel my movements the more the sun rose over. I crawled to the main part of town & saw many people. It scared me though, too much life around. I sat in my box for awhile & looked at my dirty kimono. Gross, looks like coffee stains. After the realization of that I might be here for awhile, I took a nap in my box since I got little sleep last night.
(Kagaya POV)
I was talking a walk down the street when I saw a box, a small box. I had no idea what was in it until I approached closer, a child! What is a child doing out here... I looked for any sign of parents but nothing around the box left a trace or a clue. I picked up the box with the baby in it & started walking home. I stopped thinking, "what am I getting myself into?" Only then did I remember I'm saving this life. I took her home where I lived & started nurturing her.
(Back to y/n)
I woke up expecting a box, but no. I was under the covers of a comfortable, warm bed. I had never felt something like this before. I sat up & looked around. I saw a man, he had black hair & kinda freaked me out a bit. I cried a little before he quickly hushed me. I then realized I was saved, he saved me out of the wild. What a blessing.
A few years later, Kagaya officially adopted me as his daughter. I was happy to be part of their family now.
