A Broken Arm

Meeting

Everyone, but Roy woke up. Amber assumed the medication from last night was still inside of him and he would probably sleep later. Which was perfect to address the problems and figure out how to solve them.

"He went out into the rain and hurt himself?!" Jin yells. Amber looks away and sighed.

"Yup.. If I hadn't found him, he would definitely be more damaged.. I don't know how long he was out there for but he said he just wanted to walk around since he couldn't sleep."

"Again? He was awake a couple days ago and I managed to get him to sleep. I thought he was doing okay now.." Poli mumbles.

"You thought he was doing okay?" Helly snorts. "He tried moving some pots that Amber supposedly ordered. He almost broke it"

"He moved it? I thought Poli did it?!"

"Well he clearly wasn't with you on the track! You didn't notice Roy wasn't on the side"

"Alright enough. What are we going to do? If Roy keeps trying to work he's going to make his injury even worse." Jin states, a fist slamming down on her chair.

A moment of silence as the Rescue Team thinks about what they could do. Then Poli spoke up

"You know.. the whole reason I think Roy is acting like this is because well.. we keep him here all day. I know said he was grounded Jin but maybe we should let him go out." Poli explain

"Poli, If we let him out he's going to hurt himself. You know he's going to start working and things will get worse. We have to watch him" Jin said

"But he's bored Jin. And he's already hurt himself here. Are you really going to keep him here for a week or a month?.. and maybe even longer. That's longer than me without my propeller. And he clearly doesn't like us watching over him like he's a child" Helly argues.

"One of us can watch him and perhaps we can have some fun together," Amber adds on.

Jin sighs, her hand going through her hair. "Fine.. but we're going to need some ground rules before we can let him go off."

"Fine with us"

Roy woke up an hour later. He forces himself up and looks at his clock. He was an hour later that when he usually wakes up,

Walking out, he slams into his door and groans. Roy wished he could sleep all day. His days were so boring and with everyone watching him, he couldn't do much. His arm felt so stiff and painful and sighed. He was really an idiot. Walking around in the rain in the middle of the night was a terrible idea. He opened his door and walked out. Jin and Poli were in front of him.

"Uh.. Hey guys? Shouldn't you be patrolling Poli?"

"Yea. But Helly took his route today." Jin said. She didn't look happy, her arms crossed and the way she looked at him. "I was what happened yesterday. More parts are going to come in way later. You really should have been more careful."

"I'm Sorry Jin." Roy apologize

"But.. since you're bored here. Poli is going to hang out with you today. You guys can do whatever you want."

"Really?" Roy's eyes lit up. It's been awhile since they were like that. Poli chuckled.

"Yup. We can take a walk in the woods or just talk to some of our town friends." Poli responds.

"As long as you don't work. I don't want you another report about you lifting something. You are officially banned from doing that." Jin said. "Promise me you won't do it?"

"I won't Jin. I promise. Especially since my arm is pretty broken right now." Roy muttered the last part. But he smiles and gestures to Poli to come outside. Poli follows and they head out.

"So what do you wanna do?"

"Hmmm., how about some fishing? I think it's perfect weather today."

"Sure. We'll pick up bait and fishing rods at the store"
